Loving Bette as I do, the Cool Yule CD was a delight for me. I appreciate when artists do new arrangements of the classics, bringing their own style to the familiar songs, especially the ones we hear over and over at Christmas. I bought this CD for the Christmas version of "From A Distance." I love the regular (first) version of From a Distance, so I just had to hear this new version. The new version is refreshingly beautiful, with great acoustics, and Bette Midler has the most beautiful voice on earth! Bette Midler released her first Christmas album. Thank goodness! This album is a rockin', fun album with a sense of joy that is missing from a lot of Christmas albums by contemporary artists. This is one of my favorite Christmas albums already, and I've only had it for one season. I highly recommend it.Free Music Review: Bette is Back!

This album exceeded all my expecations. The title track, Cool Yule, is FANTASTIC. Lots of great big band arrangements that feature Bette's voice very nicely. Its a very well done album that I've enjoyed so much and I'm quite sad its just for Christmas but I look forward to hearing it again next year!Free Music Review: Cool Yule

Cool Yule is the most great song out of this album but the rest of the songs are pretty good. I have watched Cool Yule video but I dont know where the video went it just disappeared I am alittle disppointed tho but I can always watch the video of Cool Yule at different website so I dont worry about it.
