Free Music Notes for Dangerously in LoveFree Music Review: Beyonce. What more can I say? Hit: 5 Stars
Finally, here's the longer-awaited solo debut of the Destiny's Child lead singer, as people were waiting for, with most best producers of the R&B scene:01. Crazy in love (featuring Jay-Z)-Produced by Rich Harrison & Beyoncé-Beyoncé was so right when she chose this song for present the album. The beat's so crazy and good, from beginning to end. That instrumental arranging in the chorus reminds like an orchestral sound but hotter & adapted to bang. I like the vocals, the rap & the music. Guys, you bang it. (10/10) 02. Naughty girl -Produced by Scott Storch & Beyoncé-That club bangin' track keeps it slower after Crazy in love and it's bringing down the speed that the album began with. I like the Arabic-flavored music and I think it's so much good. The part of the song I like most is the beginning of the prechorus. But I think she could give the track a bit more of heat. (8/10) 03. Baby boy (featuring Sean Paul)-Produced by Scott Storch & Beyoncé-Naming the singers, is enough to say the track is the bang. Sean gives to the track the heat that it needs. And that Arabic, reggae flavor gives the song that wit. The part of the song that I like most is from "Picture us dancin real close" to "Feels like true paradise to me". I love it. Beyoncé bangs the vocals and the writing and with the help of dancehall hitmaker SeanPaul. (10/10) 04. Hip-Hop star (featuring Big Boi & Sleepy Brown)-Produced by Beyoncé, Bryce Wilson & Big Boi-This track moves between hip hop, funk & rock, and I love it. I think it could be better. I like the Big Boi raps and Sleepy vocals, and of course Beyoncé, she gives them high-pitched and softer sound than ever. (9/10) 05. Be with you -Produced by Rich Harrison & Beyoncé-A soft track that gives the listener the relax that he lost while listening the previous tracks. It doesn't seems a production of Harrison and it's a track that sees Beyoncé talking bout what she'd rather and of course, that's being with her baby. (8/10) 06. Me, myself and I -Produced by Scott Storch & Beyoncé-This track sounds like Be with you, with a soul-funk sound and I think, slower, and soft too. Talks bout her ladies, bout how she feel and bout all that things close to her heart. I like it. (8/10) 07. Yes -Produced by Focus... & Beyoncé-I like so much this classical Destiny's Child track like, but with a beat good and new. The beat mixes music box, with percussion, with cell phone interferences. I love it. And that's another mid-tempo track that stays with the style of the both previous. It's a good track to precede the next. (9/10) 08. Signs (featuring Missy Elliott)-Produced by Missy Elliott, Nisan Stewart & Craig Brockman-This, in my opinion, the best song of the entire album. Missy brings so much good and soft beats that when I hear it, it gives me such comfort. I really feel this track. Beyoncé hits again with her vocals that, sometimes, sound like Tweet. The theme of the song's so original and I love the track entire, from the beginning to Missy's rap. (11/10) 09. Speechless -Produced by Beyoncé, Fanatic & Sherrod Barnes-I really don't feel this song. It's too much hard and slow for my likes. Well, I like some parts of it, but I don't like it very much. That hard beat with the guitar and it's too much slow, I say again. (6/10) 10. That's how you like it (featuring Jay-Z)-Produced by D-Roy, Mr. B & Beyoncé-I feel this song. The soft beat and lyrics are good for this song. And it's a really climbing from the slow feeling of Speechless. Jay-Z takes something more than a feature, rapping chorus and verses. I really like it. (9/10) 11. The closer I get to you (duet with Luther Vandross)-Produced by Nat Adderley Jr.-If you like ballads, this is the best song of the album. They sing, but of course!, bout their love. I feel this song. I think it could be a little better. However, I like it. (8/10) 12. Dangerously in love 2 -Produced by Beyoncé & Errol "Poppi" McCalla Jr.-What can I say bout this? It's the deepest song of the album, with lyrics that hurts your heart, and this is the second version of the song that DC did in Survivor. The 2 versions are almost the same, this one has got more instruments and the vocals change a little. It didn't suppose 2 me another song. But I like it. (9/10) 13. Beyoncé Interlude -Produced by Beyoncé-An interlude, it talks bout the harmony with their love feigning it with the beauty of colors. I can't score it. 14. Gift from Virgo -Produced by Beyoncé-I didn't feel this song when I heard it, but when I felt it, I liked it. I like that jazzy beat. The worst's that the track go on for only 2.40 minutes. (8/10) 15. Work it out -Produced by The Neptunes-I was really missing a Neptunes track, and the one that they produced is already released. I didn't like that. What can I say bout this? It's one year old and it mixes Neptunes beat with a 70's flavor that gives the song the dance. Good track. (9/10) 16. '03 Bonnie & Clyde (featuring Jay-Z)-Produced by Kanye West-Who doesn't knows this song? Did by 2pac and then versioned by Jay-Z, with the collaboration of her B, who we are talking about. The song hasn't the fun that I thought it was gonna have. Anyway I like it. (8/10) 17. Daddy -Produced by Beyoncé & Mark Batson-Well, I like this but what I like most from this, is the Beyoncé vocals. They are very harmonious. I like the way she sings here. (8/10) I like very much the album, but I'm still missing that tracks she announced for the record. Tracks like Neptunes-produced "I think I'm ready", the Timbaland & Missy-produced "Wrapped around me", the R. Kelly-produced "Gangsta", the Lil' Kim-featured "Ice cream truck"; "Summertime", "My first time", the Bad Boys soundtrack "Keep givin' your love to me", and forward to 45 songs she recorded for the album. That's the mistake.
Dangerously in Love PosterAsian edition of the debut album from the international superdiva and Destiny's Child member. Includes an exclusive track, an Alternate Version of 'Crazy In Love' (featuring Vanness Wu), along with the international bonus tracks, 'Work It Out' (from the Austin Powers In Goldmember soundtrack) and 'Bonnie & Clyde '03' (feat. Jay-z.) 17 tracks including 'Naughty Girl', 'Speechless' plus one hidden bonus track ('Daddy'). Sony. The perfect timing of Beyonce Knowles? career moves continues with the release of her debut solo album. Dangerously in Love?s best music is wildly up-to-date, craftily designed for both maximum street acceptance and positioning as some of the most cutting-edge stuff on current radio. The brash first single, "Crazy in Love," melds Jay-Z with an unstoppable Chi-Lites horn sample, shape-shifting into something brand new. Collaborations with Outkast?s Big Boi and Sean Paul also prick up the ears, while changes of pace like "Be with You" and "Speechless" achieve their aim with credibility. The disc becomes far too ballad heavy in its second half, but the key stuff is the noise she brings. --Rickey Wright
