This is some of Beyonce's best work. As an artist she has grown and is learning to venture out and try new sounds.
My Personal Favorites:
Halo- a nice emotional well written ballad. Has a Leona Lewis meets Rihanna feel to it but Beyonce definitely nails this one.
Hello- has a catchy melodic hook and good lyrics
Sweet Dreams- upbeat tempo with an addictive hook
Single Ladies- enough said
Scared of Lonely- well song ballad with a nice musical background
Radio- very playful fun song. Nice for playing while driving.
Disappear- shows the more acoustic side of Beyonce and has good lyrics

I believe to date this is Beyonce's best cd....her music gets better each time she brings out a cd...I can't even pick a favorite song because I love them all. I bought the cd the day it came out and listened to it everyday for more than a month straight. I seen Beyonce live 2 years ago and it was a stellar performance and cannot wait to see the I AM...TOUR. Beyonce please keep up the good work because you have a fan for life. This cd is very innovative and creative all in one. Beyonce has an alter ego "Sasha Fierce" but now its spread to singer TWEET.
Tweet has a hot azz book called "Love Is the Drug" and it's about REAL ROXANNE the fine azz black woman movie critic! lol! (go to BOOKS and see the book cover by searching "Tweet" + "Love Is the Drug"). You can only get it in the Kindle Store or Mobipocket but its too fierce I loved it. I think BEYONCE should star in the movie version of the book because it's a strong love story and I had no idea Tweet could write a damn book THAT GOOD! These singing stars are getting totally fierce with the double identities I see.

If you havent purchased this album by now, youve been missing out on some great music.
You will love the slow songs like Halo, Broken Hearted Girl, Disappear, and Smash Into You. They are all beautiful love songs to relax.
Now, the other side of the CD has amazing dance songs like the 5-week #1 single: Single Ladies, as well as Radio, Diva, and Video Phone, and my fave: Sweet Dreams.
It gives ya the best of both worlds.
The price is worth it, even if the other version is cheaper, dont get the other one--get this Deluxe Edition.

I can't really put my finger on why this record is so good..
I think it shows that there is more under the hood -- that she's not just a pretty face... I am completely down with this whole thing about changing your name- -like the way Eminem is also Marshall Mathers... and how Garth Brooks is also Chris Gaines...
Oh.. what would be really kewl is if Beyonce calls herself Shelia Surrender on the next record.. that would be kewl.. just keep changing her name each album... (You have to hear the CalPOP Best Record in the World album to know what I'm talking about)
