This is one of the best ever, from one of the best ever! Along with the late Big L (R.I.P.), Punisher was one of the nicest to bless a mic... a lyrical genius. Capital Punishment is and will remain classic in the same sense of Nas' Illmatic, Mobb Deep's Infamous, Jay-Z's Resonable Doubt, and Dr. Dre's The Chronic. This album minus the skits and other breakers is great. Im a particular fan of twinz, boomerang, still not a player, punish me, and dream shatterer. Though most of the others are good too, i just figured i would single out a few i like. Good and strong lyrics and good production. Overall the song quality is great and loaded with good beats and lyrics. Like i said the only downside in my opinion is the skits which we all could have done without... Big Pun is ill thats all I gotta say. He could spit, and his lyrics were ill of course. I liked the production on this album. All true hiphop fans gotta have this in there collection of course. A good lyrical rapper in most tracks. Thats why I was feelin this album on the real. Aint my favorite emcee, but he spit when he did, and it deserves to be respected and listened to. The beats are straight, a lot of banger types beats, no laid back, all bangers, a good thing.Great album. 5/5 stars from me.

my friend in junior high was a big fan of big pun terror squad and the beatnuts, he kept buggin me about them so i burned a copy of the album cause i wasn't sure if it would be good but man i was wrong this album blowed me away this dude is mad nasty when it comes to lyrics any time i hear him rhyme he gives me goosebumps the goosebumps that if u hear somethin good goosebumps he flows on every track and its on point, i heard he used to be wild dude, like he would eat crack rocks and crazy stuff like that.also the production is solid.it fits him,he has some hot dark beats on the album.standout tracks are Beware,The Dream Shatterer,You Ain't A Killer,The Rain & The Sun (Interlude) even though its a interlude he shouldve rapped over it it was a hot beat that was wasted, Boomerang,that beat sound like something that easy mo bee would do circa 94,Tres Leches (Triboro Trilogy) classic track with prodigy of mobb deep when he was good and inspectah deck hot dark beat by rza,and finally the final track that he went out with a bang was Parental Discretion hot beat by showbiz. he's one of the best latin rappers ever that ive ever heard if anything he's the puerto rican biggie, recommended for real hip hop fans, fans of east coast hip hop. there ain't nobody like him.Free Music Review: Hip Hops greatest lyricist from the start
