Free Music Review: Bill Cosby at his best!
Hit: 5 Stars

Bill Cosby is truly a comedic treasure. His comedy routines have had such a profound effect on American culture, it's hard to imagine life without him. "Why is There Air?" is wonderful, beginning with kindergarten and first grade experiences, and remembering the extremes a man will go to just to make out with his girlfriend ("$75 Car"). People who collect Cosby albums will definitely want this one.

Free Music Review: Essential.
Hit: 5 Stars

Long before the Cosby show, and even before "Bill Cosby, Myself" there were the LP recordings of the 60's. Excerpts were played on the radio and we were rolling in stitches then. If you missed it, or even if you remember them -- these recordings are essential in your humor library. If you enjoy zany "self-inflicted" humor, you might also try Ken Nordine's "Word Jazz" collection.

Free Music Review: The Third in a Classic Troika
Hit: 5 Stars

"Why Is There Air" is the third of what I consider to be the Classic Cosby Troika -- the others being "I Started Out As A Child" and "Wonderfulness". Cosby's discussion of how a P.E. major would answer the philosophical question "why is there air?" is, all by itself, more than worth the price of the entire recording. Highly Recommmended!

Free Music Review: Cosby at some his earliest, and funniest
Hit: 5 Stars

This was one of the first recordings of Cosby I listened to, and it never failed to floor me with laughter.

The tracks about the 75$ car and hofstra are the funniest tracks on the record, as Cosby paints a brilliant picture of the story with his words and sound effects, and he does with all the tracks.

Why is there air? so you can catch your breath from the laughter...

Free Music Review: Is Bill ever bad?
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a new purchase for me, having grown up with Bill Cosby's record. This one in particular. If you haven't heard him, well, you're really missing out. To my recollection, he's the one that got this "tell it like it is" stand-up comedian thing going.

Just pee first.
