Free Music Review: Wonderfulness is wonderfully funny!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Just under 12 years ago, I came across a bunch of Bill Cosby records in a local used music store and I believe that this album is probably the most touching of all of Bill's old records. Mostly, because of how much he focuses on childhood. "Tonsils" is a story all of it's own. The listener gets caught up in little Bill's most important goal: ICE CREAM!! We're gonna have ICE CREAM!! Can you beat that? "Lumps" is equally insanely funny; (And I remember how she tried to kill me off with the cream of wheat). Also very good are the tracks "Chicken Heart" & "Go Carts"( Mine was the green hornet- na-na-na-na-neh!). Along with "Revenge" and "200 MPH", I think this is Bill Cosby's best comedy album.

Free Music Review: The Roots of Fat Albert
Hit: 5 Stars

Those who were introduced to the Cos via th Fat Albert cartoons of the 70s will see the roots of several of the best episodes here. The classic "Chicken Heart" (which could do without some of the buildup) which later appeared in the summer camp episode appears. "Tonsils" was also the subject of another episode. "Go Carts" formed the basis for the every first Fat Albert cartoon in 1969 (three years prior to the Saturaday moning series). So when I first heard this CD a few years ago, I said "HEY! This is where it all started!" However, "Special Class" (about retarted kids going to the zoo) is not for the "politically correct" crowd.

Free Music Review: THUMP THUMP - Turn off the radio!!! "Hadn't thought of that..."
Hit: 5 Stars

Only Bill Cosby could make every kid in America WANT to get their tonsils taken out just so they can have ALL THE ICE CREAM IN WORLD THEY CAN EAT. The next three titles, Playground, Lumps and Go Carts are funny but Chicken Heart is by far the best and the funniest skit that Cosby has ever done. He puts so much emotion and drama into this skit that even after I have heard this hundreds of times I still laugh so hard, I cry. Shop is very funny along with special class. Niagra Falls is noteworthy too. But THUMP THUMP, THUMP THUMP, THUMP THUMP has to be the grandest act of all!!!

Don't pass up this recording! Suitable for all ages - as usual.

Free Music Review: The greatest comedy album of all time?
Hit: 5 Stars

I first listened to this album when I was about thirteen years old and thought it was one of the funniest things I had ever heard. In the almost thirty years since, my taste in humor has broadened to include Monty Python, Tim Wilson and the late Sam Kinison among others, but I can still return to "Wonderfulness" time and time again and laugh just as hard as I did that first time I heard the Chicken Heart story. Timeless, with something to make everyone laugh, "Wonderfulness" is proof that the best humor comes from everyday life. Perhaps the greatest comedy album of all time; one would be hard pressed to name a more deserving candidate.

Free Music Review: Precious Memories
Hit: 5 Stars

We had several Cosby albums when I was growing up and I memorized them all. When I was five, my dad had a medical practice and I would entertain the patients in the waiting room with "Tonsils." My favorite was "Go Karts" though. His description of Dead Man's Hill always cracked me up; I mean I grew up with kids like these and we did the same dumb things. That's the great thing about Cosby, these may be his memories but it always seems to bring back the memories of everyone who listens to it. That's why his humor seems so real and warm, he's laughing with us at all the goofy things we all did as kids.
