I'm a new Bill Miller fan and have played this album over and over for the praise it calls forth from my spirit to my God. This is contemporary Christian rock at its best, and the message of unity, love and forgiveness transcends race, gender, age, and creed. The Native American instrumentation and vocalization on songs such as Holy Lands serves to broaden my experience of Christian worship, not just to include another culture but in a mystical way to connect me with my land and the generations who walked this land before me. Not mentioned on the list of tracks is Miller's remake of Bob Dylan's They, a wonderfully poignant reminder of the world's rejection of Christ's message and His messengers. Reminscent of his Mohican heritage, Bill Miller's recording, here, is a Christian worship album that is so intriguing that it compels you to listen. As he mixes his guitar and plaintive flute melodies, he seeks the heart of God in a fashion that is truly both evocative and inspiring. Songs like "I See the Lord," "Hear Our Prayer," and "Father" are stirring, and I especially enjoined the percussion and the background vocals, which evoked that Native American sound. There is a real need for Native Americans who love Christ to come forward, and this is a real encouraging start for Miller. I highly recommend it!!!Free Music Review: Hear Our Prayer is a blessing!

Bill Miller's music transcends the categories of Folk, Rock, and traditional Native American music. Bill Miller is a man of strength, courage, and kindness. His live performances are personable, energetic, uplifting and inspirational. The stirring Hear Our Prayer (released in 2000 by Integrity Records) is Miller's best recording. The lyrics are powerful and full of hope. The music is melodic and harmonious.

I HAVE OFTEN LOOKED FOR SOMETHING THAT WOULD HELP ME CONNECT MY CHRISTIAN FAITH WITH MY LOVE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. SINCE I HAVEN'T FOUND ANY CONGREGATION THAT TEACHES ME HOW PRAISE TO THE CREATOR AND CARE FOR HIS CREATION THIS CD WILL FOREVER REMAIN CLOSE TO MY HEART. THIS IS A TRULY UNIQUE ALBUM AND WHILE OTHERS MAY NOT APPRECIATE ALL THE SONGS ON THIS ALBUM I WOULD DEFINATELY HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS IS MY FAVORITE ALBUM BY BILL OTHER THAN SPIRIT RAIN AND RAVEN IN THE SNOW. BILL IS A TRULY TALENTED AND SPIRITED MUSICIAN AND THIS IS COMING FROM A WHITE MAN.
