I had the opportunity to see Billie Meyers live in Shreveport,Louisiana. She is great. You can actually feel her music. Kiss the Rain is my absolute favorite. Billie Myers released this gem to the world and opened up a world of poetry and music at once. The sleeve of the album actually has poems that inspired the songs which I thought was brilliant. There is so much more to this album than KISS THE RAIN. I especially love YOU SEND ME FLYING which is poetic, heartfelt, expressive and makes you want to "find the one" your searching for. I also love A FEW WORDS TOO MANY which is both happy and sad at the same time...this is a rainy day album when you want to remember what it's like to be in love. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I've had it for 3 yrs. and I still pop it in all the time.Free Music Review: What was I thinking?

Kiss the Rain? WHAT? I have to admit, I liked the song way back when it was being played every five minutes on every radio station that comes in through my antenna in my car! I always told myself I would not buy a CD because I heard ONE song that I liked. For some reason, I did... and it got lost... and then I found it... and I listened to it... and I liked it! I do not care much anymore for that ONE song (it was WAY overplayed)! The rest of the CD and her voice is a nice change of pace... I recommend this cd... it's not a MUST... just a nice to have...Free Music Review: Billie Myers is great!

When I heard "Kiss the Rain", it didn't exactly strike a chord with me. But when I heard "Tell Me", I immediately fell in love with her style. Now I own the CD and must say I'm not dissapointed. All of her songs are original and fresh in their execution. A nice CD for any collection.
