Having seen Billy Joel live in concert in the late 70s, early 80s, lemme tell you - the man has still got it! His voice is still strong and most of the favorite tunes are covered on this disc. Not a lot of chit-chat or banter with the crowd is included. But it's about the music, right? And here Joel delivers in spades. I AGREE WITH THE OTHER REVIEWER, A 3RD DISC IS NEEDED TO GET ALL THE BILLY WE LOVE. THIS IS A GREAT SET BUT SOME OF MY PERSONAL FAVS ARE MISSING. EX. CAPTAIN JACK, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE, ETC.
BUT WHAT IS HERE IS GREAT AND THE PIANO MAN IS IN FINE FORM. HOPE HE MAKES SOME NEW MUSIC SO THE NEXT LIVE DISC WILL HAVE THE ONES MISSING FROM THIS ONE. GO AND GET IT!

I love Billy Joel, I have always loved Billy Joel, but this 2 disc CD is superb, I almost felt like I was at the Garden watching and enjoying along with everybody else!! I can't think of a better gift to give someone for a birthday or holiday but make sure if you're giving a gift, buy one for yourself, it will be the best gift you ever got!!Free Music Review: 12 Gardens Live deserve more than 5 stars!

Bill Joel is one of those entertainers whose albums are fantastic, but his "live" album is magical. He is the ultimate entertainer and continues to deliver music that all age groups can enjoy. I put him in the same category as a Sinatra, an entertainer who not only sings a song, but also lives a song.
