Free Music Review: Neon Leon on "Some Gave All"

One question that stands out in my mind was from a woman who sat at the sports desk, blond former center fold, 4.0 gpa former cheerleader, you know the type. She ask me, 'If you and I were going out and I told you that I didn't want to see you anymore and told all our friends what a fool you had been, what would you say and do?"

I was a little put out to be taken out of my party mood into something serious so I quiped, "If it is you the center fold who I am not going to see anymore, just don't tell my heart not my achy breaky heart that your gone.

The crowd laughed at a the way I handled that one so I continued to elude in the same mannor all night, as we sang about "concerns of the eighties".

I don't think you as an individual can sweat out songs that are this much fun. The songs this good must have come from this or some other meeting of minds congeled into a party.

Wherever that party was it must have had the following elements. Some well oiled athletes, Cyrus would fit that, some flamboyant but informed and intelligent media babes for them to lust after, an up to date list of "concerns of the time", two great quick musicians, some philosophical differences to make the questions tough and the answers "artful", record the party, clean up the barroom language and print.

I thank three gorgeous media babes for a party I will remember every time I play the album.

Who coined the song lyric," If it don't come easy you better let it go" Well the critics will flow forever but Cyrus was flowing on this one and has been ever since.
