Free Music Review: Took a few listens, its good, but a disappointment to Monkey Business
Hit: 5 Stars
The E.N.D. has a very different sound from their last album and their songs are mostly different. This is a disappointment from Monkey Business. There are only a few songs that would remind you of the old Black Eyed Peas albums. After listening to it a couple of times, the songs are all very good.
Boom Boom Pow - It is now overplayed, the beat is very basic, but its a good tune - 7/10
Rock That Body - Probably the worst song on the album, that high pitched voice that keeps saying "Rock the Body" is so annoying, I would definitely avoid that songs. 4/10
Meet Me Halfway - Has an '80's feeling to it. Fergie gets the chorus and does a very good job with it. 8/10
Imma Be - Reminds you of the old Black Eyed Peas music, you start out slow and turns out fast. Very capturing beat, very good song. 8.5/10
I Gotta Feeling - One of the best songs on the album, very good beat, very well done song. This is officially their next hit of this album. You should really check this song out. 10/10
Alive - Slow throughout the whole song, but its still good. Sort of sounds like old stuff but not really. It sounds the same throughout the whole song. To slow and annoying at the undetermined chorus. 7/10
Missing You - Another '80's sounding tune, simple beat and Fergie takes the lead again. She really belts it out in this tune and she does very well. 8/10
Ring-a-Ling - I don't know why, but this is one of my favorite on the album. Just a very capturing beat mixed with the words and chorus may be annoying to some people, but I think its really good. 10/10
Party All The Time - Same beat throughout the whole song, but still a very good song with a mid-high tempo. Gets boring after the first 2 minutes of the same thing. 7/10
Out Of My Head - Fergie's sex song just like my [...] and shut up, not as good as the other ones but has a good beat. Kinda cheesy but good. 8.5/10
Electric City - Really good song and captivating beat, I like the chorus on this. One of my favorites. 9.5/10
Showdown - Interesting song, keeps a steady beat. Sounds almost like every other song. Nothing really special to this, but still good. 8/10
Now Generation - Starts out slow like a groove and goes into very basic beat. Now, there is some very pitchy singing in this. Fergie is way off on most of these notes, it is almost unbearable. 7/10
One Tribe - Get together song. Indian beat to it with the bongos in the back. The one song that everyone can dance to and it has a good beat. 8/10
Rockin To the Beat - Mostly music and the electric background saying "rockin to the beat", they only are involved very little in the song, which was very dissapointing. Good beat though. 6/10
Simple Little Melody - Definitely not the same as the title very captivating and very different throughout the whole song. Well done. 9/10
It takes a few listens to make a distinction between the songs, but when you listen to it a couple of times. You can tell that it is a really good album. Thanks for reading. I have edited this review so I would have given it 3 stars.
