I have this album on reel to reel and converted it to CD. Despite the lousy sound quality of the transfer, the music comes out nicely. I really like this band. They are supposed to be a southern rock band but to me, they just sound like a hard rock/arena rock band.
I like all the tracks on the album and there is some great guitar work by Charlie and Rick as well as keyboards by Ken Hensley. I can't go without mentioning bass and drums from Greg and Jackson either. Some would say this was at their peak, just before they broke up. Others might say this was them trying to keep up with the Jonses and going commercial. Either way, the result is a great album.
I can't pick a favorite as all the songs are good, so I'll just say that as a whole, these guys rocked! Too bad things didn't go further as this album was made at a bad time for the band, when the music scene was changing. I kind of wish it had stayed like this a while longer as I never really got into the hair metal scene which buried Blackfoot in the end.
I'm glad to see Ricky in Skynrd and also to see Charlie and Greg keeping the Blackfoot name alive. Highly recommended.
