Free Music Notes for Secret VoyageFree Music Review: Not their best, but still great. Hit: 5 Stars
Blackmore's Night has carved out a pretty decent specialty niche...call it "Renaissance Rock". There are other groups who try to do this type of music, but most of them lack the sheer unadulterated talent that Ritchie Blackmore and Candace Night bring to the table.
This CD is great. It's not as good as "Fires At Midnight", but it's better than "Village Lanterne" and "Ghost Of a Rose".
My favorite tracks on this CD are "Locked Within the Crystal Ball" and "Sister Gypsy".
My niece says she wants to be Candace Night when she grows up (smile)!
Free Music Review: awesome Hit: 5 Stars
Once again Ritchie Blackmore & Candice Night come through with another spectacular CD filled with amazing music, two thumbs up. I have every Blackmores Night CD & would highly recommend Secret Voyage to anyone who has already heard Blackmores Night before, & anyone who hasn't heard them should listen to some of their music and start their own collection, be prepared to go on your own Secret Yoyage once you start to listen to the music of Blackmores Night.
Free Music Review: Secret voyage...secret pleasure.... Hit: 5 Stars
This is a amazing album, and i find it funny how Ritchies past glories now haunts him, because people wont let him go forward with this, but be warned...he is stubborn, and will continue with this project until HE decides to move on.
So grab a glass of wine,or beer or whatever and relax and let Ritchie and Candice take you on a secret voyage.
You wont regret it.
Free Music Review: Coming out party for Blackmore's Night - Secret no more, the voyage continues Hit: 5 Stars
New Age and Renaissance music lovers already had Blackmore's Night on their radar-screen for the last 10 years. Secret Voyage offers the chance to open this amazing niche/specialty music to a wider audience. Please see other reviews for details.
Try it out. You will not be disappointed, especially if this is your 1st Blackmore's Night CD you are trying. [...]
Free Music Review: Blackmore's Night - Still Growing, Still Great Hit: 5 Stars
This album, apparently, done in a studio seems a little more whiz-bang than B'sN's other albums. It also seems to have a little more Eastern Folk influence than the English/Teutonic Influence of previous albums. I liked it. Candice's voice and lyrics are still smooth as silk. Richey's music, especially the intros just get sweeter.
