Free Music Notes for Under a Violet MoonFree Music Review: Ritchie-This is a Great CD Hit: 5 Stars
Ritchie Blackmore shifted his musical focus away from hard rock in the late 1990s and started concentrating on his love of Renaissance-era music. He formed Blackmore's Night with his fiancee, vocalist/lyricist Candice Night also recruited other musicians from around the world to combine elements of world music, Renaissance, new age, folk, and rock & roll. Good CD .... Buy It

Free Music Review: A Wonderful collection of haunting songs. Hit: 5 Stars
''Under A Violet Moon'' is a great CD for any Blackmore's Night fan. Lady Candice's voice is eerily haunting, yet comforting as well. Ritchie's miraculous guitar playing is perfectly blended with his wife's voice. A beautiful Masterpiece.

Blackmore's Night is a fabulous group. Edgy enough to be modern but also very pleasing for those of us into nontraditional music.
