Free Music Notes for Blaze Of Glory: Songs Written And Performed By Jon Bon Jovi, Inspired By The Film Young Guns II

Free Music Review: Jon Bon Jovi proves why he is a rock legend.
Hit: 5 Stars

No joke. This has to be some of the best songwriting, singing, and playing ever. With "Blaze of Glory" and "Miracle", you get what everyone expects with Bon Jovi, big songs with big passion. These are two really good songs too, but if that's all you are here for you are missing out on a whole lot more. "Santa Fe" is a song about a man who knows that he ain't ever gonna see heaven because of the men he's killed, but that's alright he's going to Santa Fe to kill some more with no regrets. "Blood Money" is the definitive 'brothers on two different sides of the law' story. While hearing this song you can almost see Billy the Kid talking to Pat Garrett. "Bang a Drum" sometimes gives me chills because of the religious tone of it. Buy this CD, listen to all the songs, and then listen again. I am sure you will gain new respect for Jon Bon Jovi.

Free Music Review: A Great Collection of Songs Inspired by a Great Movie
Hit: 5 Stars

This first-rate CD contains songs by Jon Bon Jovi that were inspired by the successful movie "Young Guns II". Each song on the disc has a distinct western style to it, and Jon's fine vocals are apparent on each track. The CD contains such high-energy songs as "BIlly Get Your Guns" and "Never Say Die" as well as the ballads "Miracle", "Blood Money", and "Bang a Drum". This CD has a distinctly different sound from other Bon Jovi CDs. Gone are the high-energy lead guitar solos. These have been replaced by acoustic guitar pieces and a slower pace to each song. I listen to this CD quite regularly and its one of my favorites in my collection. Pick up this great CD and hear a different side of Jon Bon Jovi.

Free Music Review: Jon Bon Jovi strikes gold on his own
Hit: 5 Stars

jon bon jovi steps away from his bandmates and creates a truly amazing record! joined by an all star lineup of rock legends includng elton john, little richard and jeff beck, jon makes some of the best music of his career on this, the soundtrack to the movie "young guns 2".those expecting the catchy pop metal of bon jovi won't find it here, the songs are much more diverse.from the dark and brooding "justice in a barrel",to the country rock flavor of "you really got me now",this album shows what a truly great songwriter jon bon jovi really is.if you're a jbj fan i highly recommend this one, and even if you're just a rock fan in general,it is definitely worth a listen.

Free Music Review: Solid Gold
Hit: 5 Stars

It's hard to classify this album in a genre, but musically it is a benchmark album that sets a standard that few can reach. What sets it apart from Bon Jovi (the band) records, is that it doesn't sound so polished and commercially viable. This is real, heartfelt compilation of songs that speak of life and anyone with a soul could relate to a few of these. "Santa Fe" is one of the greatest songs, lyrically and musically, that I have ever heard. It takes you to a state of mind that few songs do. The movie was decent, but it pales in comparison to this album. I wouldn't buy this album because of the movie, i would buy the movie because of the album.

Free Music Review: A great soundtrack
Hit: 5 Stars

Jon Bon Jovi performed some great songs for this soundtrack to "Young Guns II." It has some big hits along with some other great songs that will make you feel like you're watching the movie. Most people will recognize the huge hits such as "Blaze of Glory" and "Miracle." I liked just about all of the songs, but my favorites are the two I just mentioned, "Santa Fe," and "Justice of the Barrel."

With the "Young Guns II" soundtrack, Jon Bon Jovi proved that he can also be a good artist working solo. If you like Bon Jovi or good soundtracks, I recommend getting this album.
