Free Music Notes for Blaze Of Glory: Songs Written And Performed By Jon Bon Jovi, Inspired By The Film Young Guns II

Free Music Review: Awesome
Hit: 5 Stars

I had this on Cassette back when it first came out. I am a big fan of Jon Bon Jovi as a songwriter and he has written alot of catchy and great tunes. As a soundtrack this is right up there with some of his or dare to say probably best work ever. If you haven't listened to this give it a try but be forwarned for all you early Bon Jovi fans when he was more Hard Rock this is more bluesy, country than In and out of Lovish....and for a solo album even if it is a soundtrack...some of Jons best work ever...I highly recommend you take a listen as every song tells a story that will intrigue you to listen to more...

Free Music Review: Who is Bon Jovi? Blaze of Glory will tell you!
Hit: 5 Stars

This album truly shows the great Talent that Jon Bon Jovi uses in the other albums where he plays with the band. In some songs in Blaze of Glory you almost don't have any music, only the image of a great songwriter and singer that doesn't use any special effects to cover his voice, but has a very country/rock style that influences thousands to pick up guitars and start writing and playing. Great songs, catchy... fun to sing and fun to play... Buy this CD... but be careful, if you'll buy you'll end up buying the rest of his albums :) Enjoy.

Free Music Review: Ever stumble upon a long lost treasure?
Hit: 5 Stars

Ever stumble upon a long lost treasure? Well this is one of them! It ranks right up there with Slippery When Wet and New Jersey. You want to hear LYRICS... pick this one up! It has the most consistent, deepest, and greatest set of lyrics I have ever seen. Every song up in this joint is the ish no doubt! As I recall, this was Bon Jovi's first try at making it alone because Richie Sambora started dating Cher. And Jon struck gold fo sho with this one with Jeff Beck. You gotta have this one in your collection... only this time, it's on CD.

Free Music Review: WOW 13 YEARS AND COUNTING
Hit: 5 Stars

Its hard to believe that this came out 13 years ago and yet at the same time i cant imagine what the last 13 years of my life would be like without this cd. It has got me through a lot of tough times. When I was angry at school I would listen to it at lunch and let jons words sooth my soul enough to get me through the day. When I was angry at work I would run to my truck and again I would let jon get me through the day."Bang a drum" means so much...Thanks Jon for writing a great record that stands on its own 2 feet to this day

Free Music Review: Still playing once a week
Hit: 5 Stars

This is definitely one of my all time favorites. I've worn out the cassette and am on my second copy of the CD. It's seen me through road trips, personal hell, some great times at college, and many days just relaxing in the sun. Lyrically I think JBJ does some of his best work, and the raw quality to several of the songs makes this a very honest album IMHO. I dare say this outdoes many of the band's albums and somehow seems to give itself over to rock'n'roll without seeming formulaic. I recommend this highly!
