Free Music Review: Inspirational.
Hit: 5 Stars

I absolutly adore this record. Its one of my all time favorites and made Blink-182 my all time favorite alongside Green Day and the Goo Goo Dolls. This whole album is catchy from start to end. Yes, these are guys in their mid 20's singing about teenage drama, but its a very fun album. I love each track, here's the rundown.

1. 'Dumpweed' - A good, fast, upbeat song about wanting a girl you can 'train'. Its really funny some of Blink's lyrics.
2. 'Don't Leave Me' - Bascially the title speaks for the song. Another upbeat, fast song.
3. 'Aliens Exist' - Everybody knows Tom is a huge alien geek, and this song is sort of a 'shot' to the Majestic-12 that aliens exist. One of my favorites.
4. 'Going Away To College' - Defiently another of my favorites. I love the chorus and the lyrics. "I haven't been this scared in a long time, and i'm so unprepared so heres my valentine, a boquet of clumsy words, a simple melody. This world's an ugly place, but you're so beautiful to me."
5. 'What's My Age Again?' - The first single off their record. Everybody knows it. Im not saying nothing.
6. 'Dysentery Gary' - I didn't really like this song at first, but i totally love it now. Another upbeat fast song.
7. 'Adam's Song' - Third single and possibly one of my favorite all time Blink-182 song. Its the only 'slow' song on the album. Its about being tour and missing home. It was one of the first songs i've ever learnt on guitar.
8. 'All The Small Things' - This and the video propelled them to stardom. Good song.
9. 'The Party Song' - A very fast paced song. It's so fast that its too fast for Mark to sing live, so that's why they never play it. It's about some girls trying too hard.
10. 'Mutt' - Another fast song, just like the rest of the album. Its about a friend of thiers who always going out to get laid.
11. 'Wendy Clear' - This song is about wishing things werent so bad. Lyrics explains all.
12. 'Anthem' - The last track is basically like all the song on the album: Fast paced and upbeat. One of my favorite songs. I really like the lyrics for this song alot. And it's true, "Mom and dad posses the key (to) instant slavery"

Overall, one of my all time favorite albums and a break through to the pop punk genre. Each song ends in and around 3 minutes, but defiently a must buy for all pop punk fans. Most likely, everybody has got it.

Free Music Review: Villainous Narrow-Minded Misfits
Hit: 5 Stars

This is the kind of music that's good to listen to while you're relaxing and doing nothing. REALLY awesome music for serious people who have serious brains with serious thoughts. The words are so REAL. Unlike trying to memorize the capitals of all the states, you can really learn something from the words.

I am really at a loss for what to say in this review, other than to convey my shock. Without going into all the gory details, let's just say that Blink 182 has recently been going around claiming that governments should have the right to lie to their own subjects or to other governments. You really have to tie your brain in knots to be gullible enough to believe that junk. Note that it is hard to ignore the impact of Blink 182's misconduct on our children, our culture, and our national character. I put that observation into this review just to let you see that I have to wonder where "Enema Of The State" got the idea that it is my view that freedom must be abolished in order for people to be more secure and comfortable. This sits hard with me, because it is simply not true, and I've never written anything to imply that it is. I wonder what would happen if "Enema Of The State" really did purge the land of every non-unambitious person, gene, idea, and influence. There's a spooky thought. Anyone who believes that courtesy and manners don't count for anything is kidding himself. But it doesn't stop there.

Have you ever heard the phrase "It's so bad that's it's good"? Well, then you know exactly what I'm talking about. Multiply all the accolades by, say, three. Do I have to spell it out for you. Hey - you do the math!

Blink 182 is every bit as yellow-bellied as villainous narrow-minded misfits. I don't think anyone questions that. But did you know that it's about time the public realized that they are being duped by it and its lickspittles? While reading this review, you may have occasionally asked yourself, "Where is all of this leading?" and, "What is the point exactly?" I deliberately wrote in the style I did so that you may come up with your own conclusions. Therefore, I leave you with only the following: I urge you to join me in my quest to fight wrongheaded blockheads.

Fact: techno music doesn't have to be all shallow facade - it can be honest, melodic, and heartfelt if the songs are up to the task. These wonderful songs are just that.

Free Music Review: One of Their Best
Hit: 5 Stars

I am fully aware that this is NOT punk rock at all, but I feel it is pop punk at its best. It has punk elements and doesn't go overboard with the pop. These guys are one of my favourite bands ever and are truly great musicians, and every song on this CD is excellent. Here's a breakdown:

1.Dumpweed-One of the best intro songs to an album ever. Really fast paced and energetic with the memorable lyric "I need a girl that I can train". 9.5/10
2.Don't Leave Me - A really solid song. Great vocals by Mark, cool lyrics. 8.5/10
3.Aliens Exist - Just a really awesome song, about aliens. How could it not be good? 8.5/10
4.Going Away To College - An AMAZING song. Very pop punkish, but if you buy this album you better like that genre. Really cool lyrics, a romantic feel to it. 10/10
5.What's My Age Again - Another great song. Their first really huge hit. One of my faves because I can really relate to the whole immaturity thing. Really awesome guitar intro and HILARIOUS video. It really sums up what blink is all about. 9.5/10
6.Dysentary Gary - Really cool, fast paced tune with a kick ass guitar riff at the beginning. Great vocal part by Mark in the middle of the song and the lyrics in the last verse are really rad. 9/10
7.Adam's Song - Probably the most memorable song on the whole album. In my opinion, it is one of blink's greatest songs. A really sad song dealing with loneliness and depression with awesome vocals by Mark. The Best Song on the album (my opinion). 10/10
8.All The Small Things - The poppiest song on the album, but I have to admit it is addicting. Very catchy, with one of the best music videos EVER. Even if you hate blink or don't know anything about blink, odds are you know this song. 9/10
9.The Party Song - One of the best on the album with another great, memorable line "Some girls try to hard". 9.5/10
10.Mutt - If you've seen American Pie, you know this song. Really kick ass song, with great lyrics. Alot more punkish then most of the songs, and the last song recorded with Scott Reynor, blink's last drummer before Travis. 9.5/10
11.Wendy Clear - Another solid, pop punkish song. The vocals are really good with a catchy guitar riff. 9/10
12.Anthem - A really solid close to the album. Fantastic drumming by Travis, and a song alot of teenagers can relate to. 9/10

Free Music Review: great album with lots of depth
Hit: 5 Stars

Hey I will admit i bought this album for one song, all the small things. And it wasnet that bad i liked it. It was catchy and the lyrics were cool. As i kept listioning to it he song grew old so I took the chance of venturing out and listioning to the other songs. So there i was starting at the begining and i rolled right through it and to tell you the truth I LOVED IT!! It was a totally killer cd. It starts of with dumpweed which is catchy and gets you into the cd. It has cool guitar rifts and travis does a nice job on the drums. Second is Don't leave me which i also liked. It was almost funny at times. It does not have as cool of rifts as other tracks do but it makes up with lyrics. They were great lyrics. Next is Alians Exist. Tom sings this song and his voice is perfect for the song. Travis does a nice job on the drums and once agian the guitar and bass rifts are good. During the chorus they sing in harmony and that sounds really good. Whats my age agian is next and that is the second track i really got into. Great guitar rifts and good song writing but the song gets a little old after a while. Next is Going away to college. Great rythom guitar and good chorus. I liked this song. Next is Dysentary Gary which is a very funny track. I thought the drums where the best in this cd and the main guiter was perfect. It also had cacthy lyrics, great great track. All the small things was next which was good but it got a little old after a while. Not just a spactular job on anything but they pieced it together and it sounded alright. then their is Adoms song which is a sad song. There is a piano in their and it was a nice change of pace. Also the lyrics were very moving. Next was the Party song which the lyrics were great and the drums were good. they worked the base in to and that sounded good. Then there was Mutt which had a good rythem guitar and pretty good lyrics but not one of there best but it passes. Wendy Clear came and it also had some niece base action and the lyrics were just ok. But still not a bad song they seemed to ryem a lot. Last is the Anthem which has great guitar and great drums nice closing song. And that is the album. It is a little punk and a little pop so i know that will turn some fans off but i still think this album is AWSOME!!! I will stop writing now!

Free Music Review: I can't help it.
Hit: 5 Stars

This is supposed to be the kind of thing that bothers me. This band is on TRL all the time, and they seem like complete sell-outs. The first couple times I heard this album, I knew it was great, and I had to have it. I bought it about a year ago and I still think it's great. It has simple chords and what not, but who cares? It's good stuff. I've listened to a lot more music since I bought this album. More intricate stuff like the Flaming Lips and Radiohead. I think that's all good, but you still gotta have your pointless punk. My brother has told me that this is a "fake" punk band, and that I should listen to Sex Pistols if I want "real" punk. I say, why not listen to both? It's not like you can't. Anyways, it's a good album, probably my favorite last year:

The first five songs draw you in, and I stay for "Anthem".

Dumpweed-probably my favorite opening song on any punk album. It rocks.

Don't Leave Me- Mark's favorite song, and I agree, it's awesome, it made me want to buy the album

Aliens Exist-Very funny, catchy chorus

Going Away to College-my favorite on the album. Gets me, and it's beautiful.

What's My Age Again-As many times as I heard this on the radio, I still like it.

Dysentary Gary-Crude, but fun song. I like the part where Mark sings real low: "Ease away the problems and the pain..."

Adam's Song-I used to like this song a lot more before they played it on the radio too much, but it's the most emotional song on the album, and I like it.

All the Small Things-I never liked this that much until they started to play this on the radio.

Party Song-Very fast and kewl. Try and memorize the lyrics, it's fun.

Mutt-This one's alright. Not my favorite, though.

Wendy Clear-Pretty good song by Mark. Probably better than Mutt, but not near the best

Anthem-An excellent ending for the album. It's the only reason I listen to the last three tracks.

Get this album. Don't think about musical principles. Just enjoy it for what it is. Get other punk, too, but try this one. My theory is that Blink 182 is the punk band made to make the catchiest punk music possible and not care about experimentation. They know what they're doing, and it's pretty darn good.
