Free Music Notes for The Mark Tom and Travis Show (The Enema Strikes Back)Free Music Review: Too fast? no way.... Oi oi oi!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
To start out, I'd like to say that is the bootleggers nightmare! A live CD that sounds decent? Yup... Anyways, this cd produced from 2 live shows is a great summary of Blink 182's history. It covers Blink's early punk days with songs like Carousel and Peggy Sue and the latest hits like Adam's Song and What's My Age Again. To add to the live feel of the album, they included Blow Job and Family Reunion, some tracks which I consider not to be studio material, however, worth every second of time they take to listen to. Blink's latest single, Man Overboard, is included on this album to finish the show. Note: this track is NOT a live recording. This latest experimentation with pop-punk goes to show Blink is still writing good material. To conclude the cd, about 20 something tracks of immature toilet humor are included at the end. Good deal... From a drummer's point of view, I'd just like to say that Travis Barker does some amazing stuff on this cd I can't even comprehend. Someone for any punk drummer to aspire to. From personal experience, I must say that Blink 182 really acts like this live. They are a couple of children, and they love every minute of it. So do I. I can't wait for the next album so I can see them live again.
Free Music Review: I'ts just like I was back there again! Hit: 5 Stars
The Mark, Tom and Travis show is an incredibly awesome cd, I have never heard a better cd than this. Blink 182 is a great band, and they are my favorite. Unlike a lot of bands who tend to sound crappy live, blink 182 sound incrediblt live. This cd has all of their songs played to perfection. The banter between songs is funny and is something that I think any teenager would probably find funny.I am a big fan of blink 182 and was thrilled when I got to listen to this cd because I think some of their best songs are on it.(just a partial list) All the small thigs, Adam's song, what's my age again?,mutt, dumpweed, and dammit, which i think is their best song, and they play it awesome when they are live. But I wish they had josie on it, which was a bid hit. I have been to their concert and this reminded me of it, I felt like I waa back looking down at their stage watching them play and juke around. If you havn't been to one of their concerts and feel you'll naver have a chance to go, but really wan't to, get this cd, it's almost as good. I mean you don't get to ACTUALLY see them play, but it makes you feel like they are there. So if you are a fan of blink 182, or just love concerts, or rock, get this cd, I'm sure you will be staisfied.
Free Music Review: Blink Strikes Back Hit: 5 Stars
First let me get this straight, I didn't give this album 5 stars because it's a great live album, I gave it 5 stars because of the energy they have on stage. Even though they aren't the greatest musicians on the planet, the songs are really catchy and fun and the band is really into what they're doing. This album includes songs from all three of their full length albums, Cheshire Cat, Dude Ranch, Enema of the State, as well as some new tracks. It includes all of their hits including, What's My Age Again?, Adam's Song, All the Small Things, and Dammit. It also includes some lesser known songs such as Voyeur, Peggy Sue, Carousel, Pathetic, Aliens Exist, and Dumpweed. There are also some new songs, such as Family Reunion, The Country Song, and Blow Job, but these songs are short and mainly just jokes. Blink did however include a new studio track to the album called Man Overboard, this is a really great song, the lyrics are very catchy and the band sounds very tight. I can't end this review without mentioning the joke tracks on this album, after Man Overboard there are many joke tracks, and a lot of them are really funny, anyway this is a decent live album, I suggest anyone to get it, as long as you don't get offended easily
Free Music Review: Why Blink 182 and this CD kick a large amount of anal. Hit: 5 Stars
Blink 182 is the best f***ing band in the whole f***ing world. Some people believe Blink 182 to be in rank with MXPX and Limp Bizkit, etc...i think that is an understatement of Blink 182's level of anal-kickness. To be anal-kicking enough to be able to stand on a stage and shout that one of your fellow band members has "no dick at all!!" is the most magical thing in the history of magical things. In summary, Blink 182 kicks more anal then any other band. No argument there. Its because they dont take punk so seriously. Ive heard some punk bands stand on a stage and scream about sh** like killing themselves and all that jazz. Blink 182 doesnt do that because they kick anal enough to realize that kids dont wanna hear that sh**. As a kid myself, i think i speak for the rest of America's youth when i say that we wanna hear people stand on stage, play their f***ing guitars and drums, and scream about stuff like having sex with your dad, taking your pants off, and other fun stuff...like the word f***. That is why the music on this CD is bombin, and you should buy it right now. I dont care how much money you have in your account, scroll up, and buy the CD. NOW!!! In summary, this CD and Blink 182 kick anal.
Free Music Review: A great live album for every kind of Blink 182 fan! Hit: 5 Stars
For those of you that like Blink 182's punk-turned-pop album, Enema Of The State, you'll appreciate some of the songs that they play in this album, such as "All The Small Things" or "What's My Age Again?"But this album also contains some old Blink 182 favorites such as "Dammit" or "Carousel" that will keep the punk fans satisfied. Mark, Tom, and Travis play great, with few mess-ups and very high quality sound. The jokes in between songs and the ones in the last 28 tracks are hilarious, but inapproprate, which is probably the reason it got the parental advisory label, but hey, they aren't too bad, and most 12 year olds could hear em. This album has 49 tracks, the first 19 being a whole show with entertaining commentary in between, 20 is "Man Overboard," their awesome new single. 21-49 are just the guys jokin around at various concerts. This CD is great, only a few problems being:1.It gets a little boring hearing it over and over, especially the jokes, and 2.Travis doesn't talk at all. C'mon, Travis, don't just bang on those drums! Other than those facts, this CD rules, and is a must-have for any Blink 182 fan.Buy it NOW!!!!
