Free Music Review: Good if you are sick of the original versions of the songs

This CD is good if you are sick of the original versions of the songs. However, DO NOT buy this CD as your first Blink182 CD. Because all of the original versions of the songs other than Peggy Sue sound better than the concert version. Also, they change the lyrics around a lot in the concert. They often make outrageous changes. If you don't already know the lyrics to the original song most of the time you probably WON'T find it funny. However, almost every song that isn't a new joke song is off of Enema of The State or Dude Ranch. Only 2 songs are off of Cheshire Cat. No songs off of Buddha except for Carousal which is also on Cheshire Cat. So get familiar with the songs. THEN buy this CD. Blink 182's newest CD, THE MARK, TOM, AND TRAVIS SHOW, is also their best. Though there is only one new song (Man Overboard, which is a great song, and the only one that was studio recorded)it is still a great CD. The only song that Blink 182 forgot in their concert was Anthem. Though the CD is made up of mostly EotS, it also has great songs from Dude Ranch. This CD includes my personal favorite Blink 182 song, Dammit. Also, once you have heard this CD a few times, you will find that studio recording will never be better than any of Blink's concerts. Just by listening to this CD, you feel that you are at the front row of the concert, and you can almost see Mark, Tom, and Travis. This CD rocks, quite possibly the best Blink cd ever. It grabs you from the beginning and takes you on a whirlwind of a ride that keeps your head pounding until the last track. It almost captures the thrill of an actuall live blink show. Includes some of the band best joke songs that have never been heard ever unless you have attended a concert. Live versions of the biggest hits they have. Although strangley ommited is "Josie" why I don't know but this cd rocks pick it up as soon as you can. "Wasting Time" and "Carosel" are two of the greatest songs blink have but, not many people have actually heard them. The Mark, Tom, and Travis show is probably the best cd that I have ever heard.When I went to their concert at the Oakland Collesium in June, 2000, it was one of the higlights of my summer. The Mark, Tom, and Travis show made me feel as if I was back there. I think I even enjoy the way they play their music live than on their other cd's. Their jokes made me laugh. I love the way in live concerts bands will sing slightly different than they usually do, and blink 182 does the best job at that I think. If you don't already have this cd, i suggest you buy it because if you are a blink 182 fan, I am sure you will enjoy it.
