Free Music Review: Pure bliss!

This wonderful album represents a kind of bridge between their earlier more purely meditative/new age albums ("Through These Eyes", "A 100.000 Angels") and the extravgant pop/soul og "You".
On this album there are certainly elements of pop and soul. As always every song is well-written, and the lyrics thoughtful and artistic. No doubt with an element of reflection and downright sadness creeping in, giving an added depth to the proceedings. And I always feel a tear pressing, when I hear the lines "Just jump off that cliff/And be you you're born to be". To find the courage to make the lion's roar and claim one's divinity!
As always the hauntingly beautiful voice of Lucinda Drayton is at the front. Like Sonia Loinsworth and Donna De Lory - and unlike so many new age stars that are more like gifted amateurs (Deva Premal, Snatam Kaur) - Lucinda is a highly accomplished vocalist. Able to use all the nuances and dynamics of her magnificient vocal cords.
My favorite Bliss album. And the perfect mix between pop, jazz and the more introvert and meditative.
