Free Music Review: Blue Men all around you!

First a few words on the format: This disk will NOT play on a CD player - you need a DVD player. A DVD-Audio is primarily meant as a SOUND disk. There are a couple of videos as well as a "Making of..." documentary, but this is NOT a concert video. If you have a player that handles DVD-Audio then you are good. If not you can become submerged in Blue Man surround sound by playing it on your DVD-player and selecting the DTS track on the quirky menu page. The disk also includes a PCM track in stereo, but if you do not have a surround system save your money and buy the CD version. Unlike some surround disks that just add a bit of ambient sound in the rear speakers "The Complex" is mixed in true surround, and it will give your rear speakers a SOLID work out.
The music is more accessible than their previous album "Audio" using vocals as well as covering a few well known hits. If you like Blue Man Group and have a surround system you'll LOVE this album.
