Free Music Notes for The ComplexFree Music Review: The Complex Hit: 5 Stars
This CD is a great cd for anyone who apreciates the artistic talent of The Blue Man Group. Even if you're not an extreme fan of them, then the songs featuring Gavin Rossdale and Dave Matthews are reason enough to buy it. The song "The Current" is a hard-to-hate song. The guitar and percussion mix perfectly in this lively song. Anyone who likes Bush (quite a few people) would like that song. Yet even without "The Current" the CD is the perfect album to own. The Blue Man group was meant to make music. This CD is a huge improvement over "Audio". Even If you disliked that Cd you'll like this one.
Free Music Review: Incredible blend of traditional Rock and blue man style Hit: 5 Stars
This album, even moreso than "Audio", stands on its own as one of the best rock albums. The depth in each song is incredible. The percussion is amazing. The variety of vocal contributions gives each song it's own unique flavor. Their national rock tour is going to be incredible. Also, this CD is worth buying for it's incredible sound quality, and extra video content that is both informative and hillarious. .... Buy yourself a copy of this album. It is by far worth it! But don't just take my word for it .... check out the music video and some samples, and I'm sure you'll agree.
Free Music Review: Excellent Group and CD Hit: 5 Stars
This will probably sound (read?) like many other reviews. BMG's "The Complex" is an excellent CD. Also, like others, I saw them in concert before buying the CD. I hadn't been to a rock concert since Joe Walsh and REO Speedwagon in the early 70's. BMG puts on one heckuva show. The CD starts great and stays that way. Favourite cut is "Current" for sound and lyric content. The rest are great. We also bought "Audio." Maybe not sonically as good as The Complex, but still good. Now, if I can just get a deal on some PVC pipe...
Free Music Review: Improvement On The First Album (If Possible) Hit: 5 Stars
I liked the first album from the Blue Man Group but this one is even better. While retaining the sound from their first album this album goes ever further by collaborating with additional artists. These collaboration tracks do more that just get vocals for songs they blend in the performing styles of these artists with the music. Take for example the song Dave Matthews performs the vocals on, the soung sounds like a Dave Matthews song but it also has the flavor of a BMG song. I highly recommend picking this up.
Free Music Review: Blue Man and Non-Blue Man Fans Unite Hit: 5 Stars
This is a great CD of Blue Man Music. There is very little Blue Man solo parts in this cd. There are Duets with Dave Mathews Band. One of the funniest Songs on the CD is Time to Start Track 2. It is basicly a description of the Rock Concert Movemnets that you perform while music plays in the backround. Blue Man and Non Blue Man fans will enjoy this CD. If you like to bang on your stering wheel while driving than you have to get this CD and Blue Man Groups Audio CD.
