The first time I saw BMG was on DirecTv's freeview and I must say I was most amazed at the incredible talent and overall energy of the show ! Furthernmore I went out and picked up this sweet cd filled with very different,weird,and futuristic elements,there is absolutely no band like this !!!!Every song is different.They use air pipes and pvc piping to make electronic like and record scratching sounds!!! I went to their most recent concert tour (How to be a MegaStar), and decided to rack up their albums. This had great variations on the music from the show. Wonderful music to program by... it's energizing, sophisticated, and non-violent all at the same time. There were even remakes of 2 60's songs, done absolutely great!
If you like percussion, or speed metal (and maybe think it's a little harsh), BlueMan Group is a great thing to try.

A great new move for Blue Man Group. An album which explores the world in which we live, the thoughts of musicians, and a quest to find the true meaning of "rock". There is something for everyone on this album, not only is it innovative, but at points the band comes together all at once, to give what can only be described as a "hair raising" feeling, amazing. BMG's second CD drops the "cowboy-music" Ennio Morricone touches of their first, and is better for it. Different guest singers are brought in for every track, as well as a lot of guest guitarists (and other rock musicians), resulting in a big glossy hard-rocking production which is simultaneously horribly over-produced and gloriously decadent. After attending a performance by the Blue Man group in person, I was sold on finding this style of music and enjoying the experience at home. The CD mixes many of the show's music and some new innovations with vocal artists. The music has a magnificant beat, rhythum and allure that is great listening.I thoroughally enjoy the experience and recommend The Complex for any fan of music.
