Free Music Notes for Together Through Life (Deluxe Edition) CD + DVDFree Music Review: WOW! Bob with the sense of being in love, just as if he was a teen again. Hit: 5 Stars
What a great album this is.
I've been listening to it at least twice a day since i get
it three weeks ago. And i can't be more excited about it; everyday
i found a great verse, or a delicate sound. It's very gentle,
friendly, and deep stuff. As Dylan himself said: "I only know
my fans will like it". True, indeed.
Don't hesitate!! Get this!!
And the extra cd is a GREAT bonus. Nice to experience the dj side
of bob; i enjoy his program a lot.
Free Music Review: Better than Highway 61 Hit: 5 Stars
My first Bob Dylan concert was at the Hollywood Bowl in '65, and I've been following him ever since. "Together Through Life" is a terrific album. If it had been released in the late sixties, the world would have ended. Bob has created this heavy, yet light-hearted R&B groove with the help of transcendent musicians and assistance on the lyrics by the Dead's own Robert Hunter. This is a phenomenal album. As Nietzsche might have said, "If God could dance, these are the tunes he would choose."

As a Dylan fan who does not have XM radio I really enjoyed The Theme Time Radio Hour cd. It offers the listener a chance to enjoy Dylan's eclectic music taste as well as his sense of humor. As for the album, If You Ever Go to Houston and Forgetful Heart were the two songs that grabbed me first and gradually the other songs are working there way into my head. Repeated listening to a new Dylan album is one of my favorite pastimes and is how his magic has always worked. Long Live Bob Dylan!

Together Through Life (Deluxe Edition)
Bob Dylan's done it again. Great music, great lyrics, somewhere sarcastic, somewhere tender and nostalgic, amazing "live on the studio" sound by all these fantastic musicians (his band, plus Campbell and Hidalgo). And that voice that "has the blood of the land" in it. It all sums up to a great album. Together Through Life. 5 stars indeed.
Free Music Review: The Bobster keeps boppin Hit: 5 Stars
Most people would agree Dylan's voice is shredded. Get past that and you will love this offering. The melodies are very catchy and the subject matter can be downright dark and funny at the same time. My wifes hometown and Jolene are examples of this. The interview disc is a throwaway, Bob is nowhere in it. It's an interview of an interviewer. The Bob Dylan Radio hour is a cool mix of themed songs. Bob fulfills his fantasy of being a late night DJ.
