This is a great 33rd studio album, titled "Together Through Life" by the legendary prolific folk rock singer-songwriter Bob Dylan : a collection of ravaged love songs in the unmistakeable craggy voice of Bob Dylan in the blues fashion reminiscent of the hey days of the American Blues. Notable songs include "Beyond Here Lies Nothin'", "If You Ever Go To Houston", "I Feel A Change Comin'", "Shake Shake Mama" & my most favourite track of the lot "This Dream Of You"(just under 6 minutes of musical beauty & pleasure of a song), hence the title of my review. If you like Bob Dylan's music you like this release as the legend does it the American Blues way as he only can!Free Music Review: This is a great CD

I saw him play a few of these live in July 2009 and he was so good I had to buy the CD. I've played "I Feel A Change Coming On" about 50 times aleady. I can't get enough of that track. I hear it when I am in the shower or on the golf course. I blast it when I am driving and it is ringing in my head when I go to sleep.
There are some other great songs as well like Beyond Here Lies Nothing and If You Ever Go To Houston, Joline and It's All Good.
The whole thing is worth having and I strongly recommend this CD.

I've only had a couple of listen throughs, but so far its all good. If you're a real fan of Dylan than you'll like this one. My feeling is that this album is a bit of a sleeper album. It seems like the more you catch his lyrics and how things are phrased the better the songs seem to become. I'll only highlight one song and thats "Shake Shake Mama", just a good song that captures some of what Dylan channels into his music. Other than that I'll let you decide and add that we all may not have the same shout out songs, but there guaranteed to be one that catches your ear. I am a Bob fan and gave this 3 goes in the player and that was it. I only listen to music now with headphones on somewhere quiet to ensure ...you are truely listening. Sure it sounds "a bit" like Modern Times...but i hear some reminders of Desire and The Basement Tapes (with the band). Yes there are blues..and some swing...and some great lines that are truly Dylanesque. For a man in his mid 70's he is right on target with where he should be with his muse... he hit my mark!. Hope the tour comes my way...I would love to catch some of these tunes.Free Music Review: Another Great Album

I really like this album. Of course the previous three albums have been absolute crackers. So this is 4 in a row now. I'd pay the price of this album just for the first half dozen bars of Forgetful Heart. This Dream of You is a beautiful song. I love the opening Beyond Here Lies Nothin' which has a nice cha cha feel. I Feel A Change Comin' On is perfect. When it's all said and done you've got to admire the sheer work ethic of this bloke. Producer as well. When most people dream of retiring at 55, Dylan just powers on.
