This album is fabulous! Beyond Here Lies Nothing is my favorite song on the album.
The musical arrangements are awsome. True to form, Dylan has once again created a whole new sound. The album has a sort of Spanish or samba mood to it. It is all very romatic and beautiful. I have listened to it at least once a day for the last month and will probalbly never tire of it. No protest songs here, just beautiful music.

this can't be possible... in an age where most so called "artists" are scrumbling through recycled patterns, melodies, lyrics, and image... in comes Dylan with yet another masterpiece. Do not expect another 'Love and Theft'... it is not. This is one that does not require heavy thought into its point of existance... it simply asks for some kind attention, a laid back attitude... and a freewheelin' mind... impressive!!Free Music Review: Atmosphere And Depth

Dylan continues to exceed expectations. The songs on this album have a serene and contemplative atmosphere. The lyrics are incisive and deep, humour is subtle and he gracefully incorporates the musicianship of David Hidalgo and the lyricism of Robert Hunter into his already stellar band. As is usually the case the songs seem to grow in stature with repeated listenings. A fine,fine effort.

In a very fake world of music, that we live in today,He is one of the few players out there that still sounds so real and true to me and himself.The songs are decent and go perfect with his old ragged out voice.He does the blues right for a white guy, and that's very rare in today blues scene.I think it's some of his best work of late.Put he's not for everybody.Just me and my dog!Free Music Review: THE BEST

After reading so many reviews thatwere so disrespectful to Mr.Dylan,I can only say that this cd is simply his best and the best cd of the year so far.It is such a pleasure to listen to and the performances of these songs are great.Mr. Dylan is a timeless treasure.Buy it and sit back and enjoy.
