I am huge into live music mainly the grateful dead and dave matthews band. I have always loved bob marley and the wailers. i have owned legend for many years but i was curious to see how the group sounded live and let me tell you i was not at all dissapointed it sounds great. Great sound quality and great music. The cd's starts out great with trenchtown rock and ends great with the 24 minute get up stand up/no more trouble/war melody and in the middle is all great material. All and all the bottom line is if you are even thinking about getting these cd's you should get them and not even think about it any more.

It just dropped this month and I already got it.... For anyone who can chill, relax, and listen to a soothing beat of reggae need to hear "Live at the Roxy." The live version takes you to the past as if u were there... With old favorite songs like "no women no cry" is what music was made of. It's Bob Marley at its best. It's the CD that you can keep on the repeat button, in your car while on a long road trip and never get tired of. The acoustics are awesome and "The Wailers" create the setting for what the reggae era was all about. Living up the 70's again and the appreciation of real music is. It all in this LIVE CD!Free Music Review: This is, by far, THE BEST!!!

Not only is this the best live Bob Marley recording, I feel it is the best live performance I have ever heard by any artist! If I were going to be stranded on a deserted island with only one CD (Ok this is a two CD set, but you get the point), this would be the one. The entire band is just so "ON" in this performance! Buy it, listen to it a few times, and it will change you at the "Soulular" level! I also highly recommend Ziggy marley's live concert DVD of "Love is my Religion". I know, I know... he's not Bob, but if you give that DVD a chance I think you will love it too.Free Music Review: Get Up&Get Your Set

Bob Marley & the Wailers give a great performance. 1976 was that when they were in their prime? Must be close. The versions of the songs are as good as the originals. Disc one has 11 great songs like "Lively Up Yourself" and disc two has two previously unreleased tracks - the second track a jam version of "Get Up Stand Up/ No More Trouble/ War @ 23:58. I love the background singers - wow. The recording quality sounds good to me. And I compare that to his releases and bootlegs. Two discs for the price of one. It's a great deal. It's Cool!
