well what can i say its bob seger and bob seger shows the true spirit of rock with songs like turn the page, old time rock and roll, like a rock, hollywood nights and my favorite against the wind now let me just say this its not only a great rock song but its probably one the best songs out of any genre of music ever recorded i will say this much if you don't like against the wind then u just dont like music period. bob seger is one of those landmark artists that everyone needs at least one of his albums in their collection and i say if your only going to get one than make it the greatest hits and then if you still want more get against the wind and work your through more. and if you like seger than will love tom petty, don henely, the eagles, aerosmith, and stuff like that. thanks for reading my review long live rock!!!Free Music Review: Bob Seger - Greatest Hits

This is a fairly good compilation of his early hits, but what the heck happened to "Even Now"? For me personally, that song is the best by Bob Seger. It's interesting that it does not appear on his Greatest Hits, Part II either.Free Music Review: Bob Seger's best is right here and now!!

Fun CD, one of the better greatest hits albums I've seen in a while! Bob Seger's voice and the songs filled with American spirit and fun times as well as covering hardship and loss make his greatest hits a must have!
There are 14 songs on here and I love them all. The sad song We've got tonight is on here as well as Mainstreet. Mainstreet has a great slow guitar part on it and is a sad sounding tune. Still the Same is also on here and one of my favorites. Turn the page has always been a favorite, it is a song about being on the road and running into different situations while touring. Hollywood nights is also a tune that is fun, and like a lot of Seger's music, tells a great all american story about a boy who leaves home and goes to hollywood and falls in love at a young age. Against the Wind is also a great tune that is typcical of Seger, it's slow and not to sad but just a great song that evokes people that are trying to make their lives better. If you like Bob Seger you should get this greatest hits album it is worth it, because they are all here!
