Free Music Notes for Bob Seger - Greatest HitsFree Music Review: zero stars an option?? Hit: 1 StarsWow why could Bob seger be so popular??? He is such an overrated singer who just screams cant sing in tune and he could match similar pop singers like Bruce Springsteen, and Mik Jagger. I could think of the single decent song seger has ever done which is still not as good as driving songs by Metallica (Fire down below). What can i say???? Bob Seger is hell baby!! See me at work monday afternoon.
Free Music Review: Vintage Seger Hit: 5 StarsThis CD is an absolute "must have" for any fan of this great rock-n-roller! I've been a huge fan since I was a teenager and recently saw Seger in concert. He hasn't lost a step, maintains that same energy from the 70s while on stage and still sounds great. He's "Still the Same," if I may borrow from one of the songs on this CD. Thankfully, he's still performing so many of these classics that fans like myself have always enjoyed. Those classics are clearly highlighted on this CD. He's done a great job of evenly representing his hits through the years so you'll be able to enjoy cuts from 6 different albums. Three of my personal favorites are on this one (Night Moves-1975, Turn the Page-1972 and Still the Same-1978) plus he's added a couple of new choices to each of the Greatest Hits CDs. On this one, he does a great version of C'est La Vie, which you might remember as being used during the infamous dance scene in Pulp Fiction, albeit by Chuck Berry. "In Your Time" didn't get as much play as it probably should have when originally released but it's a good song nonetheless and it showcases Seger's supremely unique, recognizable voice.
Free Music Review: CD Hit: 5 StarsThis Bob Seger CD is great. It has so many great songs that bring back good memories. My son who is 16 just loves it too!
Free Music Review: Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band - 'Greatest Hits' (Capitol) Hit: 4 StarsReview number 140.Fourteen track, more or less a 'best of' compilation. Sure, there are such '70's album rock goods here like "Night Moves", the much over-played (but worthy)"Turn The Page", the rocking "Hollywood Nights", "Against The Wind", "Mainstreet" (my second personel Seger favorite)among others. Guess what you really need to do,is also purchase a copy of Seger's 'Greatest Hits, Vol.2' as a companion CD (sort to speak). My sole regret is that Bob Seger was just in my hometown and I didn't catch his concert. Too bad.
Free Music Review: Greatest hits are the greatest Hit: 5 StarsBob Seger sure has a great collection of tunes here
