The acoustics are pretty incredible in this gem. Vocal's are multi tracked and oddly beautiful. The guitar sounds almost out of tune with its folky twang. The drums are virtually non existant with its jazz like bushed patter. The lyrics are an aray of imagery. Blindsided is a personal favorite. I wasn't sure what to think at first, but as soon as I heard the first song, I fell in love. As I kept listening, each song got better and better. If you like music that is soft and mellow, this is the CD for you. Even if you don't particularly like soft music, you should definitely check it out. It's a slight edge over TV On the Radio in a weaker year, but this brilliant album gets my vote, for what it's worth. It's so damn truthfully heartfelt that you can't help but love it. It also seems to get better and better as it progresses... a big plus for me. I hate front-loaded albums. Will easily make the decade's Top 50.Free Music Review: Tears of Joy? of Sadness? I am absolutely in love with this album and yes, it is past the lust stage. I simply can not stop listening to this album. "Flume" and "Skinny Love" are my personal favorites but this is one of those albums where you dont really want to skip and you can listen to over and over. I just wrote a very descriptive review for this and realized it was way too long. All I can say is that if you are at all on the fence about buying this album please go ahead and get it. This is an amazing piece of work in every possible way. This is what music is supposed to be.
