Free Music Review: The best Bon Jovi album
Hit: 5 Stars

This is better than all their 80s cliche glam albums. This is the album that combined all the elements and the execution was a success.

A lot of people say grunge killed this band off. Excuse me?? If grunge successfully got rid of BJ then why are they still here still with multiplatinum albums??

This is by far their greatest album and proved to the world that BJ can reinvent themselves and do it well. Dry County is a brilliant song which gives a hint that they are tapping into Bruce Springsteen territory, whilst I'll sleep when I'm dead is more of a party song.

Keep The Faith went on to sell 10 million copies worldwide making another hit on the BJ list. Highly recomended, especially for those that thought 80s hair metal sucked

Free Music Review: Their Best Achievement So Far
Hit: 5 Stars

Their 1992 album KEEP THE FAITH is the most favorite Bon Jovi material I have ever encountered. It may not so as catchy as megahit SLIPPERLY WHEN WET. This album is so serious and sincere and DRY COUNTRY, over 9 minute dynamic opus is the proof of it with aggressive guitar solo interlude somewhat close to that of NEXT 100 YEARS in CRUSH album. I BELIEVE is so thrilling opening which makes my expectation for the album soar and the rest do not betray us. Commercial climax comes when you hear IN THESE ARMS and BED OF ROSES. But what a waste if you just listen to these two tracks because the other heavier and country rock flavored materials heal our souls. FEAR is a bit of Duran Duran flavored power pop stuff.

Recommended for true rock lovers.

Free Music Review: ... and they returned...
Hit: 5 Stars

... once upon a time in 1984 a band called Bon Jovi was formed... they went on to rule the world filling stadiums all over the planet... becoming the best thing since sliced bread, after roughly six years they got on planes and flew out in different directions not to speak to each other for a while...

Then in 1992 came Keep The Faith... titled in light of the band's come back it includes the amazingly powerful tracks Keep The Faith, In These Arms, If I Was Your Mother and Woman In Love, and includes a song that Jon wrote in the midst of sadness, Bed of Roses, along with a musical masterpiece in Dry County, if you don't have it and the only thing you've heard of is It's My Life... then go buy this, it's one of the best comebacks you'll hear...

Free Music Review: Hidden masterpiece
Hit: 5 Stars

Keep The Faith is the album that awakened me to Bon Jovi. I can clearly remember waiting for the first track "I Believe" to begin and being completely taken aback at Jon Bon Jovi's soaring vocals. This album produced very successful singles such as "Keep the Faith" and the amazing "Bed of Roses." However the song found later on the album is the true masterpiece. "I want you," although sounding very simple turns out to be a very poetic ballad. "I never wanted the stars, never shot for the moon...I like them right where they are, all I wanted was you." This song has helped me through a number of hard times in my relationships. It alone is worth the price of the CD.

Free Music Review: Consistently Good Album
Hit: 5 Stars

I don't really care for Bon Jovi's band of arena rock but "Keep the Faith" is a consistently good album with strong songs. Jon tries to channel Springsteen's low rasp in the title track but it doesn't really work. The upbeat "Sleep When I'm Dead" really is a lot of fun the first few times you hear it. "In These Arms" is also a catchy pop tune that you'll get sick of in no time. "Bed of Roses" is a decent power ballad with a pretty awesome Sambora solo in the middle of it. All these songs, of course, have been oversaturated and if you've even turned on the radio in the last 10 years, you've heard all of these to death. Still, I give props to the Jersey boys for writing a consistently good album.
