I am an "original" Bon Jovi fan from the early '80's...however, that shouldn't overshadow the fact that these guys still make GREAT music! They are still giving us music that catches you with the lyric and melody. The vocal collaborations with Big and Rich and LeAnn Rimes are genius! Hillary Lindsey also does a fabulous job with Jon on Seat Next to You. Any Other Day is my personal favorite that just seems to grab you from, "On any other day, I'd be blue eyes crying. I could tell the world at least I'm trying." It really is music that you can feel! Lost Highway, Make A Memory, and Whole Lot of Leavin' are all "feelable" too! Whether you are a Bon Jovi fan or not, you just can't go wrong with this CD! You'll want more!!Free Music Review: Lost Highway CD

Recently received the new CD by Bon Jovi. "Lost Highway" is a great compilation of songs, wasn't sure what to expect because some were saying it was country CD. I do enjoy some country music but I'm a big rock fan for the most part. Although you can certainly hear country influences, the CD rocks like only the boys from Jersey can and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire project. I love that they keep challenging themselves, they get better with age, they're keeping it fresh and that they still enjoy what they're doing while keeping their fans happy. I would suggest not to hesitate a moment and run out and get "Lost Highway," you'll be very pleased. I am 29 years old and have been a loyal fan of Bon jovi since the age of 11. I can honestly say that this album is the best they have done in a long time. The whole "Country" thing is being blown way out of proportion, it sounds great and it isn't a complete departure from their normal sound. Jon's voice has always had that kind of sound to it anyway if you think back, so now the rest of the band has just elaborated on that to make a great album that will reach a whole new fan base.
Believe me I am not a fan of country music! This is not a "country" album!! Yes, it has "country" aspects to it but I hope that doesn't stop people from buying this great new sound.

Bon Jovi proves yet again an incredible talent for writing and musical composition for which there is no comparison. "Lost Highway" is arguably the best Bon Jovi album ever. It is incredibly rich with the high energy tunes like "Lost Highway" and "We Got It Going On" or the softer ballads like "Make A Memory", "We Ain't Strangers Anymore" and "Seat Next To You". Every offering recorded offers something different and unique. Songs you'll likely hear on the radio in addition to 'Memory' are "Whole Lot Of Leaving", "The Last Night", "One Step Closer" and "I Love This Town". Lost Highway will not disappoint. I have been a HUGE Bon Jovi fan for their entire career and they still continue to put out great music!! This cd has songs from the heart that you can rock to, songs that you can relate to, and songs that can inspire you just as Bon Jovi has always done. It may have a little "country" sound to it, but it is still Jon and his band putting out what they feel and no one does it better than they do. His voice sounds amazing and there isn't one song that I don't love. His CMT "Unplugged" special is a must see too as his performances of new and old songs is great. I especially liked his jazzy touch to You Give Love A Bad Name as well as his moves.
