Free Music Notes for One Wild Night: Live 1985-2001Free Music Review: A must for Bon Jovi Fans Hit: 5 StarsThis Cd is great. It has a lot of his newer and older songs (Live). The live pieces of most songs were recorded long after they were hits. For example, "Living on a Prayer" was big in the late 1980's but the song on the CD was (which was live) was recorded in the late 1990's-2000. Still this is a great buy for Bon Jovi fans. A great CD....brings back old memories.
Free Music Review: I've been waiting for so long.. Hit: 5 StarsBon Jovi is one of my main influence, his Charisma and talent are truly beyond belief, you can feel it in this amazing CDs, for those of you who are just starting with Bon Jovi I would recommend to buy Slippery When Wet to get in the Mood, but for the Hardcore fans this one is a MUST HAVE! Excellent performance in ALL the songs, only the best of the best, nothing was added to fill the CD, nothing is unnecessary, Songs like Wanted Dead Or Alive really get you in the mood for a party, and if you're feeling bad hey check out: Keep The Faith :) Well, I could go on and on, but you really have to listen in order to believe, so don't think twice, just click on Add to Cart - you won't be sorry, I know I'm not.
Free Music Review: My latest guilty pleasure. Hit: 5 StarsWhile I never would have previously given Bon Jovi a moment's consideration (let alone a place in my CD collection), something has shifted in the great vortex of my musical understanding: I love this album! Perhaps it's the live, incredibly energetic renditions of these songs, much of the best of Bon Jovi ("Living on a Prayer", "You Give Love a Bad Name", etc.) and a couple of interesting covers (Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World" and the Boomtown Rats' "I Don't Like Mondays" - featuring Bob Geldof on vocals). Or, maybe I'm just experiencing a mid-life crisis. Somehow, when I play this disc I feel like I can relate to the primal side of adolescent maleness, the one that is expressed through the shaking of a fist while screaming oneself hoarse. In language that speaks of love lost, gained, lost again, regained, and the union going on strike on top of everything else. Surely, Bon Jovi isn't the only band to explore this landscape, and they may not even be one of the best bands to have done it. But one listen to 'One Wild Night' will demonstrate to even the most snobbish of music fans what it means to have a good time while doing it. If you, like me, were raised by parents who thought the best way for a confused, angry teen to get out his frustrations was through a chain-gang style weekend of yard work in the glaring August sun - allow yourself a measure of better-late-than-never rebellion in the form of blasting this CD at top volume, and then telling the neighbors where to go when they complain.
Free Music Review: Good stuff! Hit: 4 StarsGreat Music by the band after a long comeback season. Check out the wild night song, it has a crunchy beat of hip-hop too.
Free Music Review: the most overated live production of the last years. Hit: 2 StarsBeing a serious Bon Jovi fan, I can not understand how over rated is this album by so many customers. This album is a mediocre live attempt and quite frankly one of the worst live albums i have ever heard. Ignoring the number and selection of the tracks, the work of edition, and the terrible sound of the album this basically is a commercial product intended just to make millions of dollars out of musical conformism. This is not about music, not about professionalism but strictly business. I am completely sure that this band could have made and produced a so much better album taking into consideration that they would have to deliver a professional work to the fans that have supported them through the years and made them millionares. If you hear the live b-sides of the cd singles recorded before the these days album you'll hear a totally different attitude and sound. Right now, this band is not longer about rock'n roll. I think that all music customers should be more critic and demand quality in what we buy, but it seems that this is not happening anymore.
