Free Music Review: Let it sink, this rewards you big time - where is the follow-up?

I heard this album all the way back in 2000 when I was most into Autechre, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and all of that complex electronic music that is considered experimental. Back then I even thought this was a bit too much, but now that I have gone back to listen to it I am surprised at the comments here calling it abstract and 'odd.'
I am also a fan of melody, good beats, pop, and above all, an album that you can listen to all the way through without rough spots, and this album definitely has all of that! Its strangeness is also its freshness - 7 years later this album still sounds cutting edge but I'm no longer feeling it's abstract. Instead, I think it's too short and I find myself playing it compulsively.
It's a brilliant listen and these guys (Doseone and Boom Bip) need to give it another shot in a new album. This is indeed the evolution of hip-hop. I think Prefuse 73 is even more abstract - but he seems to have made a solid career out of his style and the execution here is much better... (I like Prefuse too...)
I hope everyone keeps on buying this album and giving it more listens - there's a lot here and it's an incredible leap forward - once it sinks in, it really does become just as 'bumping' as anything on the radio...
