Free Music Notes for The Price of FameFree Music Review: Price of Fame (Why is there negative reviews for this CD??) Hit: 5 Stars
This album sounds as good as Wanted. This album is a journey inside the mind of a man who's matured in the public eye, felt the pleasures and pitfalls of acclaim, and learned valuable lessons from the wealth of his experience. He has delved deep into his writing while trying his hand once again at production. This album is ultimately worth the cost. This album is really a tell-all album.

Free Music Review: Head Nod of Approval Hit: 4 Stars
Pros: I can't even front on this dude. I heard some of his songs on MySpace and they were really cool. Whoever is writing his rhymes (I know he writes some) is progressing well, and the beats are impressive too. I give him the most respect for being so young and doing his thing so thoroughly. In a field that is so anti-love to women, I really have to give him a head nod for putting out such a brave song. In "Tell Me" and "Outta My System," he talks about how hard it is to get over someone he's still in love with, where she's at, how he feels empty with her not being around, how he "still loves [her] to this day," and tries to negotiate on getting "her" back. If that's not going to give him an even broader female fanbase and get his diehards swooning off the floor, WHAT IS?! Ole boy from "Roll Bounce" blew me when he started talking about girls mailing in panties as fan mail, in "4 Corners." Wow! Bow Wow is the only rapper out now who raps on love songs that make you want to juke on the dance floor: prime example "Shortie Like Mine" with one of my favorite performers, Chris Brown. Even though the bonus track's chorus with R. Kelly, "Flirt," was annoying, it's so catchy. Bow Wow's album is representing right for ATL with a nice split of dance music, lil' bit of crooning, and the swagger that makes him even more attractive to young and older women.
Cons: He blew me on "Don't Know Bout That" when he said that he "was going to move all these old rappers out the way." Show respect. Without them, hip hop wouldn't even be as successful as it is today. I know he's been around for some years, but even the pioneers show respect to each other, and these young cats should too, especially since his lyrics aren't nearly as tight as the vets. Plus, he starts talking about how he's not like Usher and when women leave, he says "do your thing." Ummm...yeah right! He has a gang of references to an ex he still wants to be with. If anything, he's STILL burning on the same level as Usher was. I've also always respected the fact that Bow Wow wanted to be his own man and not copy off of anybody, but when I heard "4 Corners" along with other songs, and he put on this fake Southern accent, it was wack. Talk like you talk; no need to make up a drawl when we know where you're from and you don't talk like that any other time. Also, the chorus to "Give it to You" was annoying.
Free Music Review: Shut up Hit: 4 Stars
Bow Wow is so talented!! And so is Chris Brown!! Bow Wow can rap, and yes his raps might be self centered, but most raps are!! They are about money, cars, and girls. Shows how much rap you listen to. Dont like it?? DONT BUY IT. i LOVE this CD!!
