Free Music Review: Exceptional Album
Hit: 5 Stars

Ok, some people need to do background checks before they write these. I was appaled at how many people didnt know this was blink 182(minus mark), not a copycat. Although i do agree it would have done better with the occasional Mark. But that is what makes Elevator such a good song.

1.I Feel So 7/10
This song was massively overplayed on the radio making me tired of it. The first listen, I was blown away.

2.All Systems Go 8/10
Decent song, I didnt like how it changed from a serious song into a little pop punk riff though.

3.Watch The World 7/10
Pretty Good, not marvelous or anything to rave about. Well composed.

4.Tiny Voices 9/10
Very well put together. I liked the complex drum pattern. Travis is a genius. Also the lyric writing is perfect, kept me completely confused which is the point.

5.Cat Like Theif 10/10
Wow....... Yeah, wow. This song combines brilliant lyrics with a very unique guitar sound. Fun to listen too. I was shocked at the low ratings. The change in voice is a very surprising change, adding to the songs color.

6.And I 9/10
Actually this song would get higher "marks" if it had "marks" voice in it. Perfect spot to add in Mr.Hoppus.

7.Letters To God 10/10
The acoustic is very unique and adds variety to the album. Also the lyrics are touching seeing as he is talking about the death of his grandmother. Very sad.

8.My First Punk Song 5/10-9/10
If it really was his first punk song, i give it a 9 because it is decent for a first song, otherwise, you pick a number between 5 and 9.

9.Sorrow 8/10
A change between the rest of the album. Nice transition from "I got a dick" and this song. It sounds like something that would be in the self-titled Blink 182.

10.There is 10/10
The lyric writing in this song is amazing. This song rocks ma face. Something i think we all can relate to.

11.End With You 8/10
Defuinutely the hardest song on the album. Personally I think they tried too hard to make it dark and didnt concentrate enough on the vocals. Pretty good though.

12.Elevator 10/10
Incredible lyric writing. Such vivid descriptions in so few words. Not only does it get the point across but it sounds really cool. I think we have all felt this way at one time or another.

13.Instrumental 8/10
For an instrumental, they could have done better. Decent though.

All in all, Incredible album. Yeah, and about dissing the lyrics, if you have ever tried to write a song, its not easy. Write a better one then get famous, then you can critisize them. All I want to know is, who played bass?

Free Music Review: BOXCAR RACER
Hit: 5 Stars

When i first heard of Boxcar Racer i wasn't sure what to think. I wasn't sure how much they would sound like blink182 or if they would sound really horrible. bottom line... this is an amazing record.

"i feel so" starts the cd off with a outlook of being helpless and wishing you could do something about how the world is so messed up. i think its a lot like 'anthem pt 2' from "take off your pants and jacket" but like most songs on this record the guitar is a lot rougher.

next we have "all systems go" its a good song, not too much to say about it but i liked it.

"what the world"-a great song about a dream Tom might have had where different things that plague the world are fixed and taken care of. i love this song

"tiny voices" and "Cat like thief"- this is where you start to see how different these 2 bands(boxcar and blink) are so different. these songs are totally amazing lyrical and musically. im not sayin blink isnt but its just a different high you get when you hear these songs.

"letters to god" everyone loves this song that i've talked to. me too. its kind of a plea for help to god. beggin to spare his life. with words like..."i won't lie, i wont sin, maybe i dont wanna go....,cant you wait? maybe i dont wanna go" possible toms best work ever. good aucoustic in the first 2 minutes then this hard rocking insturmental rest of the song hits you. it makes u wanna grab a guitar and sing

"my first punk song" and "sorrow" 2 really good songs, ones really fast and the other is really slow, 2 opposites

"there is" my personal favorite song on this record. toms best work ever on the words he speaks. its an acoustic number with drums in the back and some piano. its about being in love and remember how you got there. i think this could have been on a blink record more than any other song on this album. its kindad like'what went wrong'but i like it more.

the end with you"- its kinda about the end of the world through toms eyes, i liked it, it rocks HARD

"elevator" good song, kinda like adams song. really deep and the vocals are awesome, tom and marks voices have really matured past anyhting we would have thought.

"insturmental" everytime i hear this song i thing of a factory and these things going through the conveyer belt. damn!

please listen to these songs, download them, buy them whatever, please do yourself a favor and hear everysong on this album. i listen to it everyday and cry and then just lay there and wish i was closer to the cd player so i could hit the play button again but its so far across the room i just lay there and cry. go get this!

Free Music Review: Absolutely Brilliant
Hit: 5 Stars

As a huge fan of blink182, i wasnt to sure about this album. Without Mark on bass nor vocals i was sceptacal about this band. But as I listened in on Kerrang and P-Rock I first heard I Feel So, super song first time i heard it and it got even better the more times I listened to it. Then i heard There Is, an equally great song and so i felt like listening to some other of there songs as i was listening to them two songs over and over. So i downloaded Cat Like Theif and thought that it was amazing so i got a few of my freinds listening to it and they all loved it aswell. So i thought I may aswell get the whole album, and so i did......and WOW!!! i was mesmorized by the hugely powerful lyrics in each song and the mind blowing drums and vocals. I never stop listening to this album and its still my favourite album to date.

1)I Feel So - This song is superb. Super lyrics about telling a girl how you feel with a great intro aswell. 9/10

2)All Systems Go - one of my favourites, cool singing with great guitar playing.love the lyrics at the end 'We Are The Underrated, All Forgotten Kidz Who Made it...' 9/10

3)Watch The World - Excellent tribute to 9/11, great drumming by travis with, once again, good singing and guitar playing by Tom. 8/10

4)Tiny Voices - This Shows that these are NOT blink. hard guitar playing and lyrics show passion yet pain and show maturity between them.super song. 8/10

5) Cat Like Thief - An old favourite. This has some of the best drumming travis has shown in all of his career. This song also has great lyrics and vocals. 8/10

6)And I - my favourite song on the album, brillaint guitaring at the beginning and amazing lyrics make this song perfect.the drumming is also excellent and Tom makes this song complete with his voice. 10/10!

7)Letters To God - another great song, this has a piano set in the backround which makes this song touch you that little bit more. 8/10

8)My First Punk Song - Funny lyrics, a great song but not suited to be on this album. 6/10

9)Sorrow - a great song to say sorry to your girlfreind. these lyrics are very touching and has great vocals. 8/10

10)There Is - an amazing song with an even better chorus. it has powerful lyrics and good acoustics. 9/10

11)The End With You - superb lyrics and vocals once again by Tom. great intro into the chorus, great song. 9/10

12)Elevator - A brilliant song about suicide, with Mark from Blink on Vocals and Bass make this song excellent. 8/10

13)Instrumental - Even though this is a song with just instruments this song is still a great way of calming down the tempo to sort out your emotions again.

A must for any punk rockers and an amazing album by anyones veiw.

Free Music Review: Another Smash
Hit: 5 Stars

Blink 182's had their share of awesome cds (Dude Ranch) and bomber cds (Take Off Your Pants And Jacket) but this side project is definately one of their best.

It's got energy, but at the same time it's got super depressing lyrics. This cd's got it all, you can listen to it forever and never get bored of it. I got this cd when it came out in 2002, and I still listen to it, I can't say that about most of my cds.

1. I Feel So- 10/10 This song makes you feel like screaming at the world, but makes you feel like you're not the only one with all these feeling, also. It's got it all, this is one of the only songs that has all the different emotions in it.

2. All Systems Go- 8/10 Good song, but it's tough to follow after I Feel So. I think it's just missing something, less memorable.

3. Watch The World- 9/10 Catchy, very catchy. But mildly depressing. It's a more slow song, cool guitar riffs, though, great drumming too, how can you go wrong with Travis, though?

4. Tiny Voices- 9/10 Great song, another catchy one.

5. Cat Like Thief- 15/10 This is BY FAR my favortie song on here. It's one of my all time faves. It has everything, awesome lyrics, good music, and awesome vocals...

6. And I- 9/10 Good song, you'll find yourself singing it a lot whether or not you've listened to it resently.

7. Letters to God- 10/10 Awesome song, extremely depressing though. Good break up song, and just a good song to cry to, ha.

8. My First Punk Song- 6/10 It's a funny song, that's about it.

9. Sorrow- 8/10 Good song and all, very catchy. But it's missing something...

10. There Is- 10/10 Another song to make you feel like you belong, it makes you feel less crazy for all your feelings, a lot less lonely too.

11. End With You- 9/10 Good song, great lyrics. All about running out of time, another favorite.

12. Elevator- 9.5/10 It's a simple song, but really really really catchy, you'll find yourself putting it on repeat and just listening to it over and over while lying in bed and just looking at the ceiling...

13. Instrumental- 11/10 I usually don't rate instrumentals, but this one is AMAZING, I love it. I listen to it all the time. It makes you feel a million emotions in one, without lyrics.

This is an awesome cd, period.

Btw, if you liked this cd, I strongly urge you to listen to their other side project, the Transplants. It's great, a little more hardcore, but not by much...

Free Music Review: Boxcar is better than i expected.
Hit: 5 Stars

i sawboxcar at the paladium, and i heard them play their music, and i cried. im not kidding, im a big enough fan to cry. and i think that this album deserves all the credit for being amazing that it can get. like everyone else, im going to review each of the songs, without giving them numbers, because that just pisseed me off, so im doing this for anyone who wants a review but hates those numbers...
1 i feel so: this was a great song, it was the perfect volume to start the cd with. the videos very moving too.
2 all systems go: not bad, not their best, a lot about world issues and stuff. at least the musics good.
3 watch the world: i have the lyrics to this written on my cieling. need i say more?
4: tiny voices: good, but not the greatest. if you hear voices, this may be something for you... the middles good though, with the music.
5 catlike theif: wow, great song. its so sweet the way toms sounds like hes about to cry. the other guys voice keeps you from crying, its kinda funny.
6 and i: i heard this song the other day in a hot topic store, and i started screaming. its awesome, loud, and fun to sing to.
7 letters to god: i think at his concert tom said that he wrote this song for his grandmother or something, but its really good, it slows down the fast pace, and its good for a relaxing mix cd... except for the end... it gets loud there.
8 my first punk song: this is great, its hilarious, and its all screaming, and its not like blink, however much youve heard. its just fun, and toms sort of leting his hair down in this one. he has sexy hair...
9 sorrow: slow, pretty, and deep. not one of my favorites, but its nice.
10 there is: overcomercial, but its really a good song, trust me.
11 the end with you: starts good, sounds a little like the intro to all systems go, loud and depressing, very good combination.
12 elevator: cry. marks guest vocals on this sound good, and make the bond with blink and boxcar. tom sounds especially good on this, partially because its such a deep subject, any song about suicide has to be good. i love this, its got good music, and stuff about being depressed.
13 instrumental: great way to end the cd. and great way to start the concert. its just a bunch or pretty instruments in a really nice sone, varies between fast and slow.
happy? im proud of myself, and im proud of tom and travis, for starting a new band. ROCK ON GUYS!
