Free Music Review: Great hardcore/emo

Fast forward until a couple days ago and I find this in my cd's. As I have been listening to a lot of AFI lately I decided to listen to this again. And damm it's great this time around. The balance between blowing your eardrums out with thrashy hardcore (Pariah Under Glass, Skull Fragments..., the title track) and sweet emo songs (When Rhetoric Dies, My Life In The Knife Trade) keeps you listening until the end of the album. Nathan Gray has great vocals, vocals that spew emotion. From bitting anger to sorrow to just about everything else. Plus this contains the best punk song ever in Rookie. I think they released it as a single when this first came out, so I must ask the question why haven't I heard it on the radio but every couple of minutes I hear horrible punk like Sum 41 and Blink 182?

This is the album that has brought me back into punk. I began to hate it all lately because of the lack of originality and the overabundance of slacking in music creation. But now I am beginning to get intrested in the dying genre once again. Who knows if a few more bands like BSF come out maybe it will be saved.
