That the guys are even still out there doing their thing...yes Mike McCrary will be missed and he was the part of the group that solidified Boys II Men's singing. But it's cool that they released a collection of Motown covers now i didnt enjoy everyone of the songs. I did find that i enjoyed the vast majority especially the Ribbon in the Sky (A Capella) and All This Love to name a couple.
It's a collection that most Boyz II Men fans should check out even if you only listen to it here and download a song or two. Give this one a try if you don't like it. Its all good its something that takes a few listens to appreciate a bit more.
Solid effort by the guys but i would prefer a new cd of their songs to this anyday.
Free Music Review: A Well Done Cover of the Classics

The timeless voices of Boyz II Men will never go out of style and this long awaited release for them just proves the point. They certainly do a wonderful job of covering the hits of Motown. The difference between these young men and other new artists of the day is that these gentlemen can truly SING! Their understanding of harmony and their vocal arrangements of the songs are creative and masterful lending a slightly contemporary feel to some of these old hits. It's refreshing to see younger artists pay homage to those who came before and blazed a trail for them.
Job well done Boyz II Men! I definitely recommend buying this CD!

When Motown deteriorated into psychedlic, and later, disco music, I stopped listening to popular music. Thirty-seven years later, Boyz II Men not only revive "classical" Motown, but sing with beautiful harmonies.
The cd is a loving and mellifluous tribute to my Motor City.
My only quibble is that I did not recognize every song.

I am enjoying this CD very much. I'm a lover of the Motown sound. My only disappointment is that my favorite Motown song, "My Girl", was not chosen to be on the CD. But overall the "Boyz" did a excellent job.Free Music Review: Boyz/Motown

As a baby boomer, it was quite refreshing as well as enjoyable to hear the selections by Boyz to Men of Motown
classics. All in all, it is an excellent CD
