This album has some great songs, and some not so great ones. The ones from the Rock of Love Show are obviously the best. I just wish he would get back with Poison and the world would be good again!Free Music Review: Not quite what I expected

I think people will be disappointed if they are expecting the Poison sound here. These songs just don't have that same pep and magic. Bret seems to have gone more for a bluesy and raw sound here, but it is very tepid at best.
Amazing that this CD has risen to number 39 based just on the popularity of his reality show. Buy this album and all you'll be doing is funding the Bret Michals retirement fund. If you want the classic Poison sound, buy a Best of Poison CD. If you want good NEW rock and roll from an 80's hair/glam band, buy the new Motley Crue release. Now THEY finally recaptured that classic sound they had in the 80's. Unless you are a die hard Bret Michaels fan and just like to hear his voice, without any regard for the quality of the song, I would not recommend buying this. The new Whitesnake album is far better than this, and David Coverdale is quite a bit older than Bret!
