Brian McComas approaches the recording studio with the same commitment to excellence and artistic integrity that he takes to the stage. The result is his new album, "Back Up Again," on Katapult Records. It combines classic such as the Everly Brothers' "Wake Up Little Susie" alongside McComas originals. McComas wrote or co-wrote 10 of the album's 11 tracks and produced the CD himself. One of his goals was to create a collection that built on the success of his debut project, yet served up something fresh as well as familiar. "Albums should be cousins to one another and that's how I look at it," says McComas. "It's all in the same family of music, but it needs to have some diversity. I didn't want them to hear the same album, but I did want them to hear the same artist. We want to gain new fans, but we don't want to lose the ones we have."Country Music CDs
