This album is really good. It's more upbeat then anything he's done in the last 35 years. My favorite on the album is "Night Time" and "Walkin' the Line" is great too. It has the original version of his "Love and Mercy" song that he closes every concert with. The bonuses on this reissue is great, it has the "B" sides of the album's three singles that weren't included on the album, as well as interviews and an instrumental version of "Night Time." Definitely own this if you are a Brian Wilson/The Beach Boys fan and check it out if you aren't.Free Music Review: Wow Brian !

I just got this album today & let me tell you it is a masterpiece, it reminds me of brian in the hayday of the beach boys. the soundmastering on this cd is excellent rhino knows what they're doing , my favorite tracks on this disc are: love & mercy, walkin the line , baby let your hair grow long. but really this disc does'nt have any duds on it, sounds like pure sunshine. so break out the sunglasses , the cooler & sit back & enjoy,dance your heart out.Take Care Brian,thanks for the music!

I remember a day in 1988 when my sister had finished her session on piano. It's about time this album was re-released. The original album features the classics "Love and Mercy", which Brian currently plays as the finale of his second encore on the Pet Sounds Tour, as well as the beautiful "Melt Away." In 1988 my father used this album to introduce me to the genius of Brian Wilson. The bonus tracks are an extrordinary addition to this package. Brian Wilson finally released his first solo album, and it is GREAT! Every song is special in its own way. This album is very emotionally moving and beautifully crafted. The bonus tracks are more than equal to the album itself. Night Blooming Jasmine and Being With The One You Love are really pleasant to listen to. Anyone who enjoys the Beach Boys' music unconditionally will love this album. Listen to it with an open heart, and be transformed.
