Free Music Review: ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT

This film, Bride and Prejudice is great! Watched it for the first time at the cinema last year but got it on DVD now. It is brilliant.
I think because I'm Punjabi myself I can relate to Chadha's films, and I love them becuase they tell the world what my life is like too!
If you aren't Asian, watch it anyway becuase I guarantee you'll love it, all my mates did. Very Bollywood, soppy but really funny and nice.
One other thing- Aishwarya Rai has been a big hit in Bollywood, has got all lads lustering after her. I'm sorry but she is so pretty she makes me sick. But she is a very good actress. Oooooh, jealousy!!!

Free Music Review: A great workout album!

After having seen the movie on the bigscreen - I got so excited and had to have this album. The music was infectious and really invigorating. I can't wait to own the dvd but in the meantime I have been exercising to the songs Balle Balle and the ever so fun Marriage Has Come to Town. Marriage Has Come to Town is a song that has everything you would expect from a good musical but really great drums and to me it was like magic to see what Gurinder Chadha could do - every film she has done has really had some stand out music. I think this movie and sountrack were both fantastic. Try doing aerobics to this one - the drums will keep you moving!Free Music Review: Great music.

A great movie with great music. I've watched the dvd and listened to the soundtrack many times. My only real complaint is that not all of the songs in the movie are on the soundtrack. For example does anyone know the Rishi Rich song played during the wedding reception at the beginning of the movie? It's the scene when Balraj and Jaya are dancing while Lalita and Chandra are talking upstairs. Also, does anyone know the song that's played at the very end by the marching band when Balraj brings his parents to meet Jaya's parents? I can't find either in the credits.
Regardless, both the dvd and soundtrack are still great!
Free Music Review: Loved the movie, love the soundtrack

I bought this soundtrack for my little sister (11) and my niece (9) who really loved the movie. I myself am a fan of the movie and enjoyed all the singing and dancing. All of the songs from the movie are on the soundtrack PLUS a deleted song called "Arrogance, Pride, and Vanity" There'a also an extra Ashanti song, as well as the extended versions of some of the songs that were edited/cut from the film. I recommend this soundtrack to those of you who enjoyed the movies music. I myself listen to this Cd while working out!Free Music Review: Be careful you get the version you want!

I ordered what I thought was "the" soundtrack version through amazon's marketplace--that is, I scrolled down to "new and used" and clicked on a seller that advertised this wonderful soundtrack. What I got was a "hindi" version that doesn't have all the songs I love so much. Well, let the buyer beware. But the soundtrack and the movie are both wonderful so that won't stop me from buying another, authentic copy and possibly getting the score for bend it like beckham. I love banngra.
