This cd from the film Bridget Jones is fantastic. This album features artists like Gabrielle (her best song to date), Geri Halliwell (good song and probably her 4th UK number one), Alishas Attic, Robbie Williams, Dina Carroll, Sheryl Crow and many more. This album is great fun and i have it in my car as there are quite a few songs that are perfect to drive to. Bridget Jones is an excellent film and so is this cd. This is such a fun compilation - none of the songs are terrible. Better yet, there are some GREAT songs that will have you singing along!! I have been playing the CD over and over since I bought it!! I feel like the CD is representative of the movie, but can stand on it's own also. If you liked the movie (or if you haven't even seen it yet), I bet that you will like the music!! There are very few albums you can listen to from start to finish without skipping tracks. Fortunately, this is one of them; v.good indeed. It's motivational, true to the movie and and to the character which inspired it. If you are a true Bridget fan, this is a definite must have. I loved this movie~ It was wonderful ~ If you have not seen it, watch it, if you don't own it, buy it!!Hugh Grant was wonderful, but keep an eye on Colin Firth ~ He steals the show~ Renee Zellweger was absoutley perfect as Bridget Jones~
I'm waiting for Part Two~ There just has to be "More"~ Wonderful, wonderful movie~ The last Scene will just steal your heart away!!

Although I did not recognize some of the artists, I loved the songs instantly! Most of them are mellow, and if they aren't mellow, they're fun and catchy. This soundtrack is a wonderful mix of breezy remakes and new clever recordings, and it's great to play during a casual get-together with friends. The songs evoke romance, humor, and self-confidence.
