If you are wondering, that is a good thing. I don't own this CD, BUT...I have borrowed this many times from good friends of mine. This CD boasts many features, from up-beat songs, to sad songs, to just plain-fun listening songs. Here's a quick review of each.1. ...Baby One More Time: This is an awesome song! The beat rocks, the lyrics are da bomb. 5/5
2. (You Drive Me) Crazy: This is a pretty good song, considering this is not the identical version that you hear on the radio. This is NOT THE STOP REMIX! 3/5
3. Sometimes: A great, fun song. You can listen to this while dancing, or while you're just sitting on your bed. 5/5
4. Soda Pop: 1 question. Why was this thing entered on the final cut? Why? 2/5
5. Born to Make You Happy: THIS SONG MAKES MY TITLE STAND OUT! THE BOMB DIGGITY! 10/5
6. From the Bottom of My Broken Heart: This is a really nice song. Her voice isn't all that great, but the tune is really nice, as are the lyrics. 4.5/5
7. I Will Be There: My second favorite on the CD. Why? Maybe it's the guitars, maybe it's the lyrics. No idea, but this is a really nice song. 5/5
8. I Will Still Love You: Yet another great song, dueted with new-comer Don Philips. Really nice. 5/5
9. Thinkin' About You: BUBBLE-GUM POP. You might not like that, but that's exactly what that is, no doubt about it. I personally like this song. It's one you either HATE or LIKE. 4/5
10. Email My Heart: Really ghetto. But the tune is pretty, just not the words or her voice. 3/5
11. The Beat Goes On: I really like this take on the Sonny and Cher tune. Upbeat. Awesome! 5/5
Overall, buy this! You can listen to it many TIMES. And it's no OOPS!
Free Music Review: A great debut from a young Britney

Britney's first CD showed the world, a young, sweet, shy girl. Look at her latest CD, "Britney", and you see a scantily clad girl. But aside from that, this CD is fun and a great debut album. Stand out tracks are:2. (You Drive Me) Crazy - The first song that I liked from this CD. It caught me the first time I listened. A lot of people like the Stop remix better, but I definitely prefer the original! I love the music and the part in the middle.
4. Soda Pop - I don't know why more people like this. It's fun! It has cute lyrics, a great beat and a happy chorus. It's great for a party.
5. Born To Make You Happy - My favourite. This is a beautiful ballad with heartfelt lyrics and moving vocals - Britney sounds really good on this track.
7. I Will Be There - Nice guitar on this track. This doesn't really sound like a Britney song, so that makes it good!
9. Thinkin' About You - Another song I like. This has a catchy chorus and cool verses.
11. The Beat Goes On - Another good cover. This version of "The Beat Goes On" is really good! I like the music and the vocals.
On my version of the CD, I have extra tracks namely a really awesome track titled "Deep In My Heart" (sounds like "Thinkin' About You"), two alright tracks called "Autumn Goodbye" and "I Will Always Love You" and two remixes of "Baby One More Time".
The only track I hated was "Email My Heart". ARGHH, I DESPISE this track. Don't ask me why, unless you want a rant on why!
This is a good debut for the young Britney. She was better when she was young, more wholesome, more fresh. Her latest album is brilliant, but I prefer Britney looking like she did on this album.
Free Music Review: The Best of 1999

Britney's debut album is filled with catchy tracks which everyone will love hearing. There's only about 2 songs out of 11 that I didn't like. BABY ONE MORE TIME: The best song of 1999. This song is incredibly catchy and it really makes you want to hear it one more time. :-)
YOU DRIVE ME CRAZY: The radio version is better that the version here but it still is really fun to listen to.
SOMETIMES: A pretty good song. This song has a bouncy feel to it and it very pleasant to listen to.
BORN TO MAKE YOU HAPPY: Another great song. This is a good, melodic song with pretty good lyrics.
FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY BROKEN HEART: This song is a dissapointment. It is extremely long and boring and seems to never end. It is Ok the first time, but never again. It shouldn;t have been picked as a single.
I WILL BE THERE: The second best song on the album. This song features an amazingly catchy guitar with really fun lyrics which will brighten anyone's mood. This is a song you cannot miss.
I WILL STILL LOVE YOU: A pretty good song. It would have been alot better if Don Philip wasn't singing.
THINKING ABOUT YOU: A Pretty good song. It is preatty catchy with cool lyric and an interesting, unique tune.
EMAIL MY HEART: An extremely good slow song with a good tune. It is only fault is its dumb title.
THE BEAT GOES ON: This song is a cover of Cher's hit song. It isn;t really good because Britney's voice doesn;t sound good with the lyrics and tune.
This is the best album of 1999 and it is definately one of the best debut albuns of the decade. This is someting you MUST get.
Free Music Review: LIKE....HELLO!!!...IT'S BRITNEY...OKAY?

This is the female mousekateer messiah at greatness!!Born in Louisiana, raised in Florida by the Disney Mafia this phenom was primed for success from the start.
This album encompasses the bubblegum, valley girl glam of the plastic class. Yes if you want to bathe and bask in thee quintesential glam album then look no further, infact this is a masterpiece of glam, even Barbie would be ashamed.
" Theres things about me , Ya just have to know....Sometimes I run" "Sometimes I hide, Sometimes Im scared of you" "But all I really want is to hold you tight, treat you right, Be with you day and night" The bass is smooth, even the twinkling xylophone adds the bubblegumness of a Hollywoodhills high school marching band complete with cheerleaders, and the beatbox is well implemented in the song Sometimes, the best tune on the album.
Every Britney album after ...Baby One More Time simply doesnt measure up to the feeling this album gives you when you listen to it. Britney was fresh, ambitious and driven when she sang this one. Now with In The Zone, her latest release, she is molded and lifeless, with the dignity of a high end showgirl. And it wont go 13 times platinum like One More Time is currently at.
What happened to Britney?? I dont think theres anyhthing she can do to repair her image. The people who are pulling her strings need to restrategize her career path. I dont think even Disney World wants her around anymore.
Oh well, this album is good and gets my thumbs up but the rest of them just dont measure up.
