I think over the years Britney has produced really, well, bad CD's. She's turned more into some model product but on this CD it's all clean, no belly tops. Here's a quick grading of the songs:1*Baby one more time*9/10*Really catchy!
2*(You Drive Me) Crazy*10/10*Fun to dance to and probably best fast song on the cD!
3*Sometimes*10/10*Really sweet ballad! My least favorite ballad but still really awesome!
4*Soda Pop*3/10*This song makes no sense and is terrible!
5*Born to Make you Happy*10/10*My favorite ballad! It's catchy and sweet at the same time!
6*From the Bottom of my Broken Heart*9/10*Britney's longest song she has ever made (5:25). i used to hate it, but now I see how beautiful and sad it is! My 2nd fave ballad
7*I Will Be There*8/10*Extremely catchy but not my favorite-love the guitar though!
8*I Will still Love you*4/10*Britney's weakest song (besides soda pop). Her voice is good but don Phillips is terrrible1 you'll see what I mean.
9*Thinkin' About you*6/10*It's catchy but all she really says is the chorus.
10*E-Mail my heart*7.5/10*Corny title but the song is OK and a little corny. But it is sweet too. My second least favorite ballad.
11*Beat Goes On*8/10*AWESOME beat but the song gets annoying--whats with the birds in the backround??
Overall-9/10...the songs are great up to #7. AVOID numbers 4, 8, and 10! Please! But hey this is my favorite album by Britney-actually the only one i LIKE at all!

I love all types of music, rock, alternative,hip-hop,r&b and yes even pop.When Britney first appeared I thought" oh no not another female singer who can't sing"! Then Christina Aguilera Came out with Genie in a bottle, and i was amazed at her talent ( even though she can't dance)! The other day I was in a book store listen to CDs and I saw Britneys CD "Baby One More Time". I decided to listen to it just because i was curious to see how it sounded , and I was shocked at how phenominal it was! I was asking myself why I didn't own the CD! I should have gotten it the first day it came out (and now a year has passed), the CD is amazing. Britney has got a great voice, she can sing very camly like in the song sometimes( best song) and in the song From the Bottom of My Broken Heart! Then she can really sing it out in Born to Make you Happy and Baby one....(another great song)! Overall the CD is outstanding and Britney is really starting to rapidly grow on me. I honestly think that she has surely got a litlle bit more talent the Christina but I like them both. ps- the next day i got Britneys Album Opps... I did it Again! This Album is so great and completly different compared to BOMT . Brits voice has really matured a little and she sounds great! So please go out and purchase these 2 wonderful CDs, you won't be sorry and it is not a waste of money! I PROMISE:):)Free Music Review: The best album of the Millenium

Britney Spears is the most talented girl. At only being 16 when she started her accomplishments are almost unheard of. She has won many awards for this album, it's videos, and believe it or not just for being the female artist of the year! She is the num. 1 best selling teen female artist ever, and no one will probably ever beat selling 10 million copies of their debut album at that age. Her voice is amazing. The songs she sings bring out her true talent, and are very fun to listen to. People like Mandy Moore and Jessica Simpson are just followers and that may make Britney Spears look as if she will not last, but they don't even compare. Their not even good singers and their songs are weak. Britney Spears has everything...the voice, the songs, the videos-with excellent dance moves, and the looks...which by the way are natural, not implants...and it is possible for her to have a quick growth spurt at that age. I would never believe that. The jelouse reporters should leave her alone and actually listen to the music and watch her perform. People often say that she does not sing good live, but I went to her ...Baby one more time tour in the summer of 99 and she was the best. Her voice was just as good as listening to the album. This album has 3 num. 1 hits on it, and is working on a fourth. Not bad for only having 11 tracks on it...which are all great. This CD is pretty good! Here*s my review of all the songs:...baby one more time - great beat to it, very catchy singalong song
(you drive me) crazy - this song is catchy too, but i like the stop remix better. the stop remix is included on the "drive me crazy" soundtrack on jive records.
sometimes - this is a nice quiet peaceful song, but catchy and has a good beat
soda pop - not many people seem to like this one, but i love it! its very fun and puts you in a great mood. fun to put on for a party
born to make you happy - this is the absolute BEST song on the entire album! not too fast, not too slow! A++++ on this song
from the bottom of my broken heart - this song is nice but the notes seem a bit out of britney's range. still a nice song, good rythm
i will be there - this song is very pretty, nice guitar background. good vocals
i will still love you - this song is probably my second favorite on the album. she sings this one with don philip.
thinkin' about you - my third favorite song. it has a really great tune to it. very catchy, sing-a-long lyrics
email my heart - i dont really like the lyrics of this song... the tune is nice, however.
the beat goes on - this one takes some real getting used to, and after a while it can get quite boring, but if you listen to it enough you'll probably enjoy it
Overall its a great album - i suggest it to anyone that does not have it!

I think that this CD,...Baby One More Time, was really exciting for Britney to make, as you can tell that she's very happy on most of the songs. This CD is full of pop songs, dance grooves, and love ballads. Her #1 hit, "...Baby One More Time" was released in December 1998, and was a number one hit the same time her album and music video for the song were. For a then-16-year-old, that's pretty good. Her dance beats include "Crazy", and the Caribbean influenced, "Soda Pop". Last, but not least, her love ballads are "Sometimes", which was a #1 hit, "Born To Make You Happy", which was another hit, "From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart", her last hit from the album. Other ballads iclude "E-Mail My Heart", the aspiring "I will Be There", "Thinkin' About You", and her duet with Don Phillip, "I Will Still Love You". Britney conducted one remake on this multi-platinum album, "The Beat Goes On", which everyone loves to listen to. The album had sold 2 million copies by the end of February 1999, and is still a global smash-hit today. The record inspired the "...Baby One More Time Tour", which traveled all around the United Staes. Spears has recorded 3 more albums to date (Oops!...I Did It Again, Britney, and In the Zone), although this one was the one that launched her onto the teen pop scene. So pick it up-because it would get my award of BEST ALBUM OF ALL-TIME!!!
