Free Music Review: The new blond diva!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

First of all, whoever disses Britney Spears clearly doesn't know how to listen to music! I mean, she has a strong, perfectly clear voice that can go low as it wants and as high as it wants. But I do have to admit that Jessica Simpson's voice is better, but I still like Britney's. This, I think, is only the beginning for her, of course. Here's why you should buy it:

1. ...Baby One More Time-Everyone's heard this song. It's fun and upbeat. 4/5 stars
2. (You Drive Me) Crazy-This is the coolest song ever! 4/5 stars
3. Somtimes-A sweet, fun song. One of my favorites. 5/5 stars
4. Soda Pop-I usually skip this one. 2/5
5. Born To Make You Happy- I usually skip this one, too. 3/5
6. From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart-A lot of people were really disappointed in this song, but I really liked it. Any girl can relate to this song after a huge breakup. 5/5 stars
7. I Will Be There-Also one of my favorites. 5/5 stars
8. I Will Still Love You- Britney and Don's voice go well together. 4/5 stars
9. Thinkin' About You- I skip it. 3/5
10. E-mail My Heart- It's a sweet ballad. 4/5
11. The Beat Goes On- Britney really does a good job trying to imitate Cher's voice in this. But I never really liked this song in the first place, but I have to give Britney credit. 5/5

I give Britney an A+. I hope she keeps it up!

Free Music Review: The pop phenomenon of her generation
Hit: 5 Stars

A lot of people out there seem to resent anyone successful, especially someone who produced pop music. Over the past few years Britney has proven that she is much more than a flash in the pan. Indeed, this album may start with the no-classic instant hit that was 'Baby...One More Time', but there's plenty more here besides that suggests that Britney is certainly here to stay.

The second track, 'Sometimes' is genuinely sweet without being overbearingly sickly. Other singles such as 'Crazy' are fantastic, retro disco pop that really works well and to counterweight this is the superb ballad 'Born To Make You Happy'. Whilst there are a few mistakes such as 'Soda Pop' (an apparent experiment into reggae that thankfully wasn't suceeded) and 'E-Mail My Heart', this is a showcase of bubblegum pop at its peak. The songs here are flirty little numbers about crushes and dates, and whilst this might not be to everyone's taste, Britney proved a real smash with her generation. The infectious melodies and her squeaky-clean image have been marketed well, and with good reason. Here is a girl that can not only sing but punch out a few really fantastic songs.

Even if her later albums were more mature with a larger variety of musical styles, 'Baby...One More Time' is such an immensely enjoyable debut album that you can't really fault it.

Free Music Review: ...Baby One More Time
Hit: 5 Stars

The whole CD is awesome and there is a variety of songs on it for whatever mood you're in.

...BABY ONE MORE TIME: This is the song that made her a star! It's a great song! It's got a cool beat and you'll get it stuck in your head quickly.

(YOU DRIVE ME) CRAZY: Although I like the remix better, the original is still really cool...it's got a soft rock feel to it.

SOMETIMES: I find this song really catchy and I get it stuck in my head. You either like it or you don't - I do.

SODA POP: A little bit of Reggae on the album. It's a pretty catchy song.

BORN TO MAKE YOU HAPPY: They released the video and single in Europe for this song, but it never made it's way to the US. Good song.

FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY BROKEN HEART: The slowest of her hit singles, but still a very good song.

I WILL BE THERE: Nice sound, good song, enough said.

I WILL STILL LOVE YOU: A duet with Don Philip. It's an OK song...not my favorite...

THINKIN' ABOUT YOU: I like this song...If they had spent a bit more time on it, it could have been a single. But still pretty cool.

E-MAIL ME HEART: With today's big internet obession, this song seems appropriate enough. A slow song...not bad.

THE BEAT GOES ON: This is definately the strangest song on the album. More beat than lyrics.

Free Music Review: One Of The Best CDs
Hit: 5 Stars

At first listen this CD just seem OK to me, only "Baby One More Time", "Born To Make You Happy" and "Sometimes" were any good. But after having it on while I played on the computer I began to like more and more of the songs. "E-mail My Heart" is very good if you ever take the time to really listen to it, it's one of the songs that sticks in my head. "From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart" is a great slow song, more of a ballad then most of the others on this CD. Out of the 11 songs on this CD only "The Beat Goes On" is unlistenable (it gives me a very bad headache). Even on my so-so CD player, this album sounds great. It includes lyrics to Baby One More Time, Sometimes, Born To Make You Happy and From the Bottom Of My Broken Heart. All and all, if you like pop music you'll probably like this CD. I feel that Britney did a very good job on all of these songs and that this CD is worth every penny you spend on it. I can understand that others may not enjoy her music and I'm not trying to make you think she's good, but I would recommend that, if you haven't already listened to this CD, to get it and just see if you like her style. All and all, a good CD in my opinion, worth the 5 stars I gave it.
