Free Music Review: Britney's done it again!
Hit: 5 Stars

As a huge Britney fan, I waited a very long time for her to release a new CD, and I have to say that the wait was well worth it. "Blackout" is just as good as any other record by Britney (even when I do think that there will never be a CD as good as "In the Zone").

Every single song has a great beat and amazing lyrics, and I couldn't find a single song in the whole cd that I disliked. All of them are simply great! I specially liked the songs "Piece of Me", "Radar", "Break the Ice" and "Ooh Ooh Baby".

I also noticed, while listening to it, that "Blackout" is pretty much about 'going back like nothing happened'; Britney is trying to show us with this record that she is the same amazing performer she was a few years ago even with all the scandal that has been going around her lately, and that parenthood doesn't stop her from still being sexy and sing about anything she wants to, just like she says in the song "Piece of Me": 'I can't see no harm in working and being a mama'

So I'd just like to recommend this CD to everyone so that you all go and buy it, and please don't listen to anyone who says that this is a bad CD, because that's not true, this is some of Britney's best work and anyone who liked her previous cd's will not be disappointed.

And, well, what else can I say?... (as Britney says herself in the first song of the CD): "It's Britney, b!tch"

After listening to this project 4 times through, and being an artist myself, I usually listen that way to form an honest opinion. I honestly love "Blackout". Each to their own in taste by all means; but, I feel like this is really fresh and the very best work that Britney has done to date. It is actually refreshing to listen to someone who has artistically evolved. I can tell that she was comfortable and confident with this work. You can hear it in her voice. I listened to this as the project that it is, not keeping in mind what the media has the intent to attempt to create. I liked Gimme More; however, there is much more to be enjoyed on this disc. If this were Britney's first project, it's possible that she would even be a bigger star than she became. Listening to this actually makes me smile in a world where there are many days that there is not a lot to smile about. I feel that each song has its own feel and there is a contemporary freshness that flows throughout this project. In most negative reviews it condemns the artist and praises the producers. Guess what? The executive producer is none other than Britney Spears. To conclude, the 4 times I have listened to this disc will not be my last. It provided an innovative entertaining escape for me and for me that is what great artistry of any kind is all about. I really hope that people truly listen before they condemn.

Free Music Review: She's baaaaaaaack...
Hit: 5 Stars

Wow. That's what I thought when I finished listening to the CD. I've liked Britney since I was in the 8th grade, when "..Baby One More Time" came out. I bought the album the second day that it was out, and soon stocked up on her singles and imports. I was delighted when "Oops" came out. I liked it a lot. By the time her third album came out, I had lost interest, mainly because I was caught up in high school sports and homework, it wasn't that I didn't like Britney anymore. I bought "In the Zone" when it came out in 2003, and had renewed interest. "Blackout" is the first Britney album since Zone that I bought, and all I can say is... wow. The critics were right. It really is good. While I will admit that I agree with people say that there's a lot of tweaking, I don't care. I'm not listening to the CD for her deep songwriting skills or how she can shred a guitar; I'm listening to it because I like the songs, period. Melody, beat.. some good songs to dance to. My favorites on the album are "Break the Ice" and "Heaven on Earth". It's one of those CDs where you can listen to it through and through, not have to skip through any crappy songs or god-awful interludes (why do they do that!?!?!!!) My point is, that this CD is awesome. I've had it for two days and have nearly every song memorized. I've been playing it non-stop in the office. Get it!

Free Music Review: im sorry haters but, "It's Britney, B*tch!!!!"
Hit: 5 Stars

Britney is something else.... the terrible VMA performance, head shaving, children, etc. i almost gave up on her..... at the end of the day it is if she delivers in the music... and she does!!!!!

im sorry i kno i might not get alot of cheers......

BLACKOUT is by far her best effort... very very grown up. with the help of Danjahands (protege of Timbaland) pharrell williams and the backing vocals of keri hilson (of timbalands "the way i are") she came out with the hottest club LP madonna wish she had!

hands down my favourite track is 'hot as ice'.... she shows sass & class... crazy track heavy rotation in my ride....

my other favourite track is 'radar'... at first i thought she said operator.... LOL!!!! great dance track....

other bangers: 'gimme more' (without the performance), 'why should i be sad' with pharrell, 'piece of me', & "heaven on earth"... honestly i didnt hear a track that i didnt like... she came with it... and im surprised she had the time to do this LP at all....

i hope nobody gave up on britney and give her one more shot... especially her fans that gave up... i kno i was almost one of them but at the end of the day she was about the music and she does deliver....

5++++ stars out of 5: way to get the haters back BRIT!!!!!!

Free Music Review: Her best release yet!
Hit: 5 Stars

I'm not going to write a verbose, critical review because Britney's fun new album just doesn't need it (and you don't want to read that, anyway!)

Hands down, this is Britney's best album ever! This album makes you want to get out of your chair and DANCE! "Radar" and "Hot As Ice" are unique and totally have me hooked. This CD features some new, catchy sounds that grow on you in that classic Britney style, which will have you addicted to the 'play' button. Honestly, I can't wait to hear more of the tracks off this album begin to replace some of the stale stuff on pop radio right now!

The tracks on here are perfect for the club, driving around, work outs, parties at home... anywhere! Expect most of the new sounds to keep you curious and energized on the dance floor, since the album is spared of cheesy ballads and slow junk.

This album is definitely one of the best pop releases of 2007, and it serves as much-needed refreshment. Buy it, you'll love it. Most (if not all) of this album will keep you entertained. If you have loved Britney's dance tracks of the past and MISS her, look past the media frenzy surrounding the entertainer and give her new sounds a try, you definitely won't be disappointed! You just CAN'T overanalyze this album! This has been totally worth the wait! A+ for fun!
