Free Music Review: Pleasantly Surprised!!

Well since Britneys VMA perfomance was less than great i figured the album wouldn't be too great either. But i was actually surprised to find that almost all of the songs were great to listen to and they're are made for the clubs. This is what i have been waiting for. At leaset britney made a comeback in some aspect!
Heres my rating:
Gimme More 10/10-No doubt about it this song is hot and catchy!
Piece of me 8/10-Good song describing her current situation and media attention
Radar 10/10-Love this song! one of my favorites..good lyrics
Break the Ice 10/10- My fav song on the album.
Heaven on earth 6/10- has an 80s type feel. ok song but not the best
Get Naked 9/10- Love the beat but the lyrics could be better. Def a club joint though
Freakshow 5/10-not one of my favorites but its an ok song
Toy Solider-10/10 Hot Hot Hot! awesome song
Hot as Ice 7/10- pretty good..britneys lyrics are pretty catchy
Ooh Ooh Baby 8/10- Another one of my favorites. Love the melody its sooo catchy & the guitar is cool
Perfect Love 6/10- not really a fav
Why should i be sad 10/10- When you hear this you know exactly who its about. Love the lyrics and the beat...great track!
Free Music Review: Totally f***ing suprised

OK, so I gotta say...the only other Britney Spears cd I own is In The Zone b/c of the song she did with Madonna. I've never considered myself a fan of her music in anyway, as her production teams and management teams seem to have had a much bigger decision on the sound of her music than she did. It all sounded exactly the same with the Swedish Pop sound that Backstreet Boys and NSync had as well during the time when boy bands and teenage girls were on top in the late 90's early 2000's. It was pure cheezy pop and was only decent to me when it was remixed by club DJ's.
So when i heard heard Gimme More I thought the beat was great, but lyrically weak, but it intrigued me enough to give this CD a try. My first thought about the CD was that this is her first CD in which it sounds like she's taken control over how she wants her music to sound. Granted, the girl can not sing, but it's a great time. I can listen to every song from the beginning to the end of the CD and the songs are beyond catchy. It's right up there with Madonna's Confession on the Dancefloor. If you love dance music and don't really care about the lyrics and aren't looking for a powerhouse vocal diva, then i totally recommend this CD.

Free Music Review: Britney's Best Album Yet

Her personal life might be in shambles at the moment but this album just proves that Britney can still make an amazing record no matter what.
Each track on this album is a potential hit...which is very rare with most albums. It is a dance album that you can't sit down and listen too....you just have to get up and dance.

Gimme more - 5/5 - great opener..."It's Britney, B**ch"
Piece of me - 5/5 - the critics favorite...great track...no other words to describe it...go give it a listen

Break the Ice - 4.5/5
Heaven on Earth - 5/5 - a really beautiful song that makes you want to dance at the same time
Get Naked - 4/5 - it is quite catchy but it snot my favourite song on the album
Freakshow - 4.5/5
Toy Soldier - 5/5 - absolutly my favourite track on the album. This song has to be be a single.

Perfect Lover - 4/5 - this one and break the ice are so similar to me...but I like Break the ice better
Why should I be sad - 4.5/5 - the closest thing to a ballad on the album, its about her relationship with k-fed...makes a good closer to the album.

1. Gimme More 7/10- Sounds needy and the VMA's kinda ruined it
2. Piece of Me 10/10- This is such a new sound to Britney and its great! The lyrics are so match and love the male background vocals
3. Radar 10/10- Pop crosses electronic, nicely done
4. Break The Ice 10/10- MY FAVE SONG in the album. Love it!! The is a very techno-ish song.
5. Heaven on Earth 7/10- uplifting, light song
6. Get Naked (I Got a Plan) 7/10- Sounds like a song that plays at an exotic club lol.
7. Freakshow 9/10- Another very catchy song
8. Toy Soldier 9/10- This song grows on you. Its super catchy
9. Hot As Ice 10/10- Great song! One of the better ones in the album.
10. Ooh Ooh Baby 9/10- Nice melody. Pop-love song
11. Perfect Lover- 6/10 Forgettable song
12. Why Should I Be Sad- 6/10 Forgettable song
Overall, I this album is pretty good. Its a great dance, feel-good album. Compared to previous Britney CD's which were pop with hiphop flavor, this one is a whole lot more electronic. I like most of the songs and rated the songs to show contrast between which ones are great, good and okay.
