Free Music Review: Britney Spears's Official Circus Review
Hit: 4 Stars

Heyy! It's me again. Exactly 5 minutes ago I rated Baby One More Time/Oops! I Did It Again 2 Disc Pack so check that out!!! Here is my review for Circus:

Womanizer- Very danceable, but she is electrified the whole time. It sounds like a robot!!! It doesn't even sound like a real voice like in "Stronger". 9/10

Circus- Electrified too. Although this one is really cool. I heard this one play on the radio exactly 3 times. Me nad my friend jammed to it the whole time on the way to The Santa Monica Pier. 11/10

Out From Under- A ballad. Boring ballad. She uses her real voice in this one. She really sucks when she doesn't electrify!!! 4/10

Kill The Lights- I LUV THIS!!! Very techno and danceable, can be compared to her other song "Shattered Glass" or the #1 currently on the charts song "Poker Face" by Lady GaGa (who I also love)! 10/10

Shattered Glass- It's basiacally "Kill The Lights" except shorter. 10/10

If U Seek Amy- This song has big controversy. There is a secret message hidden in this song. Try to figure out what it is. Okay I will tell you. When she sings it, it sounds like this: "All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to F-U-C-K me." I don't approve. Luv the song though. 10/10

Unusual You- This one is boring until the chorus. Then it gets exciting. 8/10

Blur- BORRINGG!!! 7/10

Mmm Papi- It's just like "Soda Pop". 50's style. I skip this one. 4/10

Mannequin- I think she's gonna make a music video for this song soon because I keep hearing that she knows choreography for this one. 10/10

Lace And Leather- BORRINGG!!! 1/10

Radar- This is an awesome song! My most favorite on the CD. This song first appeared on her previous album "Blackout" as track #3. This will come out as a single in June, I think, Maybe not in June, but I know for a fact that it's gonna be a single.

My Baby- BORRINGG!!!

Hit: 5 Stars

Whether it's the constant spotlight in the media, or videos in which the FCC's regulations are put to the test, Britney Spears cannot seem to catch a break.

After having a brutal divorce, child-custody battles, rehab, head shaving, and psychiatric hospitalization -- every single step played out in the media, Britney's career and personal life seemed to go down hill. It almost came to the point where you could barely feel the pulse on her once pulse-razing career. Britney was at one time called the "Queen of Pop" and having been dethroned over the pass five years, Britney is back and ready to take back the crown that's rightfully hers.

Back before the CD was released on December 3, 2008, Rolling Stone magazine quoted Britney as saying "I came into the studio because I had some free time, but once I started working, I was like, 'This is cool!' It just happened." Later on she later said in OK! Magazine that the album is "more urban. I'm working with producers who are just amazing [...] there is this fresh new energy. I'm writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room... This is my best work ever."

Circus is Spears' sixth studio album and had shown tremendous promise to the future of her career. Circus has 19 tracks; six of which are bonus tracks, and includes producers such as Bloodshy & Avant, Max Martin, Guy Sigsworth, and more. The first single, "Womanizer", which sounds like the love child of Gwen Stefani and Madonna, was her best single to date. It was her first number one single since her "hit me baby" start in 1999. With "Womanizer" heating up the charts, the CD's title track "Circus" was soon at number three, and Britney's current single, the controversial "If U Seek Amy" is climbing up the charts every single day.
Debuting at number one on the Billboard 200, Circus sold a first-rate 505,000 copies in its first week. Making Spears' Circus, the fifth number one album, also making her the only artist in Nielsen SoundScan history to have four albums debut with 500,000 copies or more. It's also become Spears's second album, the first being her ground breaking ...Baby One More Time, to have charted two top-ten singles, "Circus" and "Womanizer".

Circus opens it's tents with the synthy track "Womanizer" which at first is annoying as a clown's laugh, but it's sledgehammer-repetition chorus and beats will have you tapping your foot or doing that shake-what-your-momma-gave-you dance. Stylistically it it's similar to Rachel Stevens' "Some Girls". It's a brilliantly executed mash-up of Spears' In the Zone hit 'Toxic', with her last album's, Blackout, track "Ooh Ooh Baby". When I first listened to this song I was unsure of Britney's future as an artist. I felt that it was too repetitive and possibly not enough to revive her from the near failure of her last CD, Blackout. Being the die-hard fan I am I decided to give it a chance. After listening to it repeatedly I walked away and found myself humming the tune while listening to other music. It's a track that once you hear it's the rubber cement of music inside your ear and sticks with you.

If there is one thing that I can really appreciate with Ms. Spears is that she can give you the best of both worlds - meaning when you want to dance or drown in your sorrows with a ballad Spears gives you both. The track list on Circus is a continuance of what she does on every CD she's put out. Spears is known for her flirtatious beat and then drawing your into a ballad of emotion. Case and point will be going from "Lace and Leather" to "Unusual You".

In the flirty track "Lace and Leather" we get a sultry bass guitar, strumming a short pattern and then Spears' cotton candy-esque voice comes in with playful vocals that become as addictive as the sugar strands of each bite from a spool of cotton candy. The lyrics at the beginning," French fingertips, red lips, bitch is dangerous," lead to the ever-so-catchy chorus "baby take a seat, eyes on me, this is my show - your one and only pleasure, all decked in lace and leather". No matter what people might say Spears is the queen of making tracks that female target audience want to be a dirty nymph and seduce the man of their dreams.

Once she's done her sexual burlesque peep show, Spears dresses herself in the innocent wardrobe that she once wore in the ...Baby One More Time era with tracks like "Unusual You" which show the personal side of the Queen of Pop. The producers of Spears' hit single "Toxic" off of the In the Zone album, Bloodshy & Avant, put their touch on the glowing track. Spears' timid voice shines in this track that bleeds emotion. With lyrics "Baby you're so unusual, didn't anyone tell you you're supposed to, break my heart, I expect you to...so why haven't you," Spears speaks of her inability to open up her heart to anyone. The past couple of years have been the closest thing to hell that someone could experience. Spears herself admits in the 2009 document Britney: For the Record that she "had let people into my life that were just bad people". Spears inserts pieces of her life in each song and this one clearly speaks of the many heartbreaks (including the divorce from her money-sucking ex-husband Kevin Federline).

Of course, when dealing with Spears you have to insert some controversy, and the racy wordplay involved in
"If U Seek Amy" are nothing short of clever. When you take the chorus of the song by itself without hearing the tune it doesn't make much sense. "Love me hate me, say what you want about me, but all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to If U seek Amy". That doesn't make much sense, right? When you play this song on your stereo, or hear it on the radio the controversy will begin brooding. The clever lyrics of Max Martin play with the ultimate meaning of the song - F*** Me. It's a play on words, but if you listen to it you can hear the workings of the lyrical artist (M. Martin) and the controversial Ms. Britney Spears.

Say what you want about her but the truth is that Britney is back and her "clan" of loyal followers loves every moment of it. If I know Britney like I do we can expect nothing but more great dance tracks, sexual dancing and clothing (or lack there of), music videos, all mixed together and sprinkled with a dash of controversy.

Free Music Review: It works!
Hit: 5 Stars

I was kind of scared with the price of this item that it might not work or that it might be damaged or something. But it works perfectly fine, like it's brand new.
