Free Music Review: Slowly, It's takin over me!

Alright...Britney Spears does it again, she comes back, new album, new sound, but she's Britney Spears. It's probably Miss Pop tryin' another trendy BOMT or OIDIA because her previous album Britney, didn't do that well. Such assumptions and anti-britney's are too critical. I am in LOVE with this album. It's new and just outright cool! -Me against the Music: Madonna and Britney rock the house! Excellent choice as first single, hip hop and pop go well together.
-Boom Boom: I would like this song alot more without the constant rapper yelling into the microphone about how britney should shake her ass! enough already! let her sing. But, i know for a fact that the R & B fans will like this song alot.
-Showdown:It's very sexual in the sense well, the whole song is about make up sex. And you would probably think right away that it's a bad song, but it not. This song has a calm beat and is very fun to sing to believe it or not.
-Breathe On Me: Woah! this song is awesome! It's going to be a very fun single and European audiences are gonna lurve the tone and mood. Once again, calm song, great beat. We don't need to touch, just breathe...
-Early Mornin': Hit or Miss? Errr, it's not the best song on the album, but it's a hit. Moby helps support Britney's new provocative approach with a song about bein' a bad girl. EM is cute, not that great, but a nice song to put on during commercial break of sex and the city.
-Toxic: Mwahahaha! This song will be loved by everyone! You anti-brits can't hide! Come on sing it with me! You're toxic, I'm slippin' under, taste of a poisen paradise, I'm addicted to you and don't ya know that your toxic! Reminds me of one of those comic book hero shows. You will love this song, promise.
-Outrageous: This not so hidden message in this song: I'm Britney Spears, I'm hot and I can probably buy the city of Los Angelos. Hip hop fits her quite well
-Touch of My Hand: It got these words in it that could make u slightly uncomfortable, but when ur home alone and in ur room listen to ITZ, turn up this song. The smooth foreign sound and carefully placed words make the song really quite fabulous.
-Hook up: Admit it, this song will make you shake it at the club or just lip sync around the house. It's a club song, it's fun and groovy, probably not ur favorite song on the album but it's def. one of my top 5.
-Shadow: Meaningful ballad and very pop. Listen closely, such excellent sound.
-Brave New Girl: Britney raps! She raps! it's quite funny and quite cool, she sounds like she had a good time making this song. Very upbeat party music!
-Everytime: She wrote this two years ago in Germany, obviously after the break up with Timberlake. This ballad was written by her and will so grab at your heart.
-MATM Remix: It's ok, i like the original version of the song better.

The Answer: P.diddy works it! Britney's more hip hop song of the album, i highly suggest paying the extra buck for this song.
Don't Hang Up: Back to olden baby one more time days, except better. Once again, on an exclusive song she reaches her potential and stretches those vocal chords. This song proves Spears still has the X factor.
Free Music Review: A proper (hopefully useful) review

Ok, to someone who's deciding whether to get this or not, here's what I hope is a useful review. I'm not the kind of reviewer who just writes how much I hate Britney or how much I love her. First, ignore these one-star reviews. They're written either by rock fans who just can't stand Britney or by people who haven't listened to the CD only because they hate her. All these one-star reviews are very biased and cannot help you decide whether you should get the CD because they're only about why they hate Britney and not about the CD.First of all, are you the pop/rnb/hiphop kinda fan? If you like that sort of music, go ahead and get this one. If you are a rock fan, forget this.
Next, do you like new kinds of sounds and different kinds of beats and some fresh sounds? Yes? Add this to your shopping cart now.
Do you just want to have some dancy music playing in your Cd player? And all lyrics don't have to be very serious. They're pretty ok lyrics and actually very good for Britney.
There're a lot of different tempos, moods and stuff in here. I mean one minute she's singing about her against the music is a very classic club way with Madonna (she's pretty ok on the song but still unwanted. I'm just glad she didn't attack toxic), then jumps over to her boom boom with an excellent southern hip hop beat (with the Ying yang twins who're fun until they get too loud) and moves over to an excellent beat supported song - 'Showdown' where she's singing about play sex. Next, she's singing to her lover about connecting to her by breathing on her with great Kylie Minogueish beats (I doubt Kylie's ability of coming up with a great song like this). Then we have the Moby-produced Early Morning which is excellent pure hip hop after which the girl who just sang about a party hangover jumps over to a great 60s beat with Toxic (Warning - Very toxic song. Cannot listen to next song till you've repeated listening to this song at leat thrice) where she's singing about the how addicted she is to her boyfriend and that he's toxic. I like this Video too. I think it's the best one of hers so far. After toxic comes the R,Kelly produced Outrageous. Nice hip hop but I don't like the lyrics too much. Then she sings about playing with herself supported by fresh chinese music which sounds very good. After that, Britney Spears actually does Reggae. Believe me it's great! Very strange and wierd too but very catchy and sounds slightly like Beyonce's baby boy. The tempo slows down when she jumps over to the first ballad - Shadow where she expresses her vocal ability well. The lyrics are about the unreal presence of her lover and the Matrix have done a good job with the beats. Then she travels back to her baby one more time days with Brave new girl where she sounds like Madonna. The lyrics are ok and are about her coming out of her shell and becoming strong after which is her sorry to her ex. Everytime is the best ballad ever. Though there are no drums, the harp and the piano are very providing and her tearful voice and sweet lyrics bring an excellent mood to the song. Then is the remix of MATM which has a very catchy Indian punjabi beat. I love this remix a lot and I'm sure you will too if you like Indian sort of music.

Free Music Review: Surprisingly Good

Despite what many may believe, I think that Britney Spears is an incredibly talented entertainer. Notice that I didn't say singer. But whether you like her or not, the girl does have talent. When she gets on her stage, all eyes are on her. And it's not because she's not hardly wearing anything. She has something that a lot of artists don't have, which is the ability to be a great entertainer. An artist can have the best voice in the world, but be incredibly boring on stage. So, how does "In The Zone" measure up? In my opinion, I believe that this album is outstanding for its genre. The songs are so different and unique. That is what is great about Britney, you can never get her sound confused with someone else's. It's true that her music has changed, but I definitely think it is for the better.
Me Against The Music - 3.5/5 - To be honest, when I first heard this song, I thought that it was terrible. But it grows on you. It's not that best song on the cd, but not the worst. Madonna really doesn't add much in my opinion.
I Got That (Boom Boom) - 4.5/5 - Great, upbeat song. Ying Yang Twins are a good touch, but get a little old. The use of the banjo is great! Definitely one of the best songs on the album.
Showdown - 3/5 - Not much to this song. It's just an "okay" song with good beats.
Breathe On Me - 5/5 - The music to this song is incredible. My favorite song on the cd. A great dance song.
Early Morning - 4/5 - Different from all the other songs on the cd. It's a song about going to a club and partying and all night, yet its not really a dance song. It's got a techno vibe to it.
Toxic - 5/5 - This song could seriously be the theme song to a James Bond movie. Best song on the cd next to Breathe On Me. And this song is Britney's biggest hit since You Drive Me Crazy. Great song.
Outrageous - 3.5/5 - At first, this song was awesome! I couldn't get enough of it. But it gets old really first. Still a great dance song.
Touch Of My Hand - 4/5 - I hated this song at first. I didn't really care about what it was about, it just wasn't a good song. But it grows on you and is one of the most unique songs on the album. It's kind of got a weird Japanese feel to it.
The Hook Up - 1/5 - Worst song on the album by far. Britney should have just left it off. It doesn't fit the cd very well. I don't even think I've listened to it twice.
Shadow - 2.5/5 - Okay song. Just a little boring.
Brave New Girl - 4.5/5 - The most pop on the whole album. It's a bubbly song and Britney REALLY sounds like a robot throughout the whole thing, but its definitely catchy. She also tries a little bit of rapping.
Everytime - 3/5 - An okay ballad, just a little boring like Shadow. I don't know, maybe I just prefer Britney's upbeat songs. It's still not bad, but it wasn't a good choice for her third single, even if it does mean a lot to her.
Me Against The Music remix - 2.5/5 - Not a good remix, music is just kinda being thrown everywhere. The orginal is much better.
So, all in all, In The Zone hits more than it misses. I can't really compare it to her previous 3 albums because its entirely different. But it is definitely worth a listen. If you hated her past albums you might love this one.
Free Music Review: Britney Does It Again!

I have been counting down the days until I could finally buy the album and listen to it and flip through the mini-booklet. When I finally bought it I opened it and threw it into my cd player, and started listening to it. I was so excited. All of the songs are great! Some better than others, but all of them are so good. Me Against the Music- Such a great song. Wonderful single, and such a smart move to make it a collaboration with Madonna. GENIUS!
(I Got That) Boom Boom- Such a great song! Upbeat, fun to dance to, all around, just a great song. The record executives know exactly what they are doing. LoL
Showdown- I love this song! Its a great, slower song. The lyrics are good, the beat is good. I really like it.
Breathe On Me- I love this song. I love the lyrics, and some may say that she is going to far with this song, well guess what, she is 21. not 12. She is also one of the biggest recording artists...ever. So basically she can do whatever she wants and her true fans will still be there. Including me :). This song is awesome. Dont be narrow minded about it if you dont like Britney.
Early Mornin- This is a great song! I like everything about it!
Toxic- This song has to be one of my top three favorite songs on the whole album. It is so good, and I love the beat and everything about this song. Her vocals, the beat, the sound, its just all so great! I love this song!
Outrageous- This is a great dance song. It was written by R. Kelly, its so good! I love it a lot, and its a great song to dance to with your friends.
Touch of My Hand- I love this song! Its so good, I love the lyrics. It exudes female empowerment. I love that about this song. Also, the lyrics are tasteful and beautiful, and I think many people can relate to this song. Although some may not admit. LoL. Great song!
The Hook Up- I like this song a lot. I like the opening of it, too. It sounds really cool. Its a great club song, I love the lyrics and her vocals, too.
Shadow- Such a great, beautiful song. This is one of my other favorite songs because I can relate to the lyrics. Her vocals are very beautiful, and you can tell that she means what she is singing because of the emotion she is putting into the song. Its very beautiful. Christina may have the better voice, but Britney can really do ballads and get the haters to shut up.
Brave New Girl- I like this song a lot. The lyrics are great and so is the music. Everything about this song is good. Its a rapid song and its very fun to dance to. This is a great song!
Everytime- This is my top favorite song on the whole album. This might be because I can personally relate to it, but it is very beautiful, also. The music sounds like a musicbox, and her vocals are very beautiful. You have to admit that she has real talent. She is very beautiful and talented, in more than just singing.
I personally recommend that you purchase this album. It has everything that every pop album should have. Get rid of the wannabes like Hilary Duff, leave it to the pro's. Britney is here to stay, she isnt going anywhere, and if you dont like it, well too bad! In The Zone is awesome, and if you dont like Britney, I gurantee this album will change your mind, even if you just stay a closet fan :).

I adore this album a lot because although i'm addicted to bubblegum pop Britney songs like ...Baby One More Time,Oops!.. did it again,Overprotected this album is a lot more mature and you can easily notece that!I would give In The Zone 10 stars if possible.If you are a Britney fan,i surelly sugest you buy this album,because you'll love it.I'm glad that Spears is kinda over of Sometimes,Crazy,Born to make you happy(although i love this songs!!)pop teen beat,it was time for a major change.This album is for everybody,yes including ADULTS!!It's not only for teenagers between 14 years old and 20,if you are 30 or 40 this album will make your life happier and healthier.I mean let's take for example the song Breathe on Me,it's more like Kylie's Slow hit but way better and cooler.It has a dance-pop beat and is to put you in a sexy mood.Also if you had a hard day at the end of the day i recomend you listen to this track(Breathe On Me)cuz it will make you feel better,it's for relaxation,but not only.You can easily dance on it.If you are a hip-hop lover this album will fit you too.In The Zone is more about urban r'n'b fun pop with some hip hop lines here and there!Touch of My Hand has an exclusive r'n'b urban pop folk beat,is something that you never heard before.It was written by Britney Spears herself.My fave song is The Hook Up,which combines fun danceble pop with some hip hop lyrics here and there.I adore this song,is fantastic!At the begining you hear a black dude singing,but only for a few seconds and another few seconds during the whole song, so no it's not a duet.The whole cd is such a fun pop album..you need to buy it fast!Then there is Outrageous,written by R.Kelly.Is a sexy song,because it has oriental-fun pop beat.It uses words like:"in my sexy jeans" or"My s!x drive". There is a part on this song where Britney sings:"I just wanna live in a place where love is free(..)"that the beat has nothing in common with the rest of the song's beat,a really happy part!!Of course after singing it,the beat comes back as it was at the begining. Just simply loving it!I have the european cd,so my in the zone cd includes The Answer-written by P.Diddy,love the song.Is more like r'n'b pop.Is a mature fun song..words just cannot describe it.Showdown is also a great song,pop-r'n'b beat with a catchy chorus.Everytime is a soft and sweet ballad,it will make your life better and if you feel said Everytime is the medicine for you.Highly recomend this song for you.Another catchy song is Toxic,more like a trance urban pop r'n'b song,you need to have this at a party if you want everybody to have fun and dance. Then of course there's me Against the music,the duet with Madonna-more like digital r'n'b urban pop song,with really catchy and awesome chorus.The remix of it is also really good and makes the songs sounds different:i would give the rmx five stars out of 5!I've got that boom boom is the closest song who has teen pop beat.It's a duet with the Ying Yang Twins,so it has some rap-hip hop lines here and there-really good song,because Britney's voice sounds sexier and more mature than her previous albums(i have all her cds!).In the end all the songs are awesome,i love them all.So i sugest you go and rush to buy this cd!!
